I took my 2016 Big Horn 5.7 Hemi for differential fluid change last week and that experience has been posted. Thanks for those who supplied welcomed comments.

On Wednesday the Ram had alignment and tire rotation. All has been done...oil, filter, tranny oil and filter, only thing to do now are plugs and belts. Battery is one year old now.

The Ram has 73k miles on it and it is purring. I figure to wait until 85k or so to change them out. I know the plugs are suppose to last 100k but the Ram has been good to me, so, I want to be good to it.

How many miles? Sounds like you're doing all the "right" maintennce.

Maybe you skipped it, but I didn't see exchange brake fluid on that list ...maybe they did that too (??). If you're in a humid location, and the fluid looks beyond amber ...to 'dark', it would be a good idea, if they haven't done it. New brake fluid is clear as gin. Dealerships generally have a machine that makes that job real easy. You could put that off till your next oil change, or even a couple years depending on the color. Also have the dealership check the pH of your truck's coolant. It probably doesn't need changing yet.

The way you're taking care of it, your truck will love you for many years to come!

With only two seasons in Belize weather, it is either rainy and humid with some good breeze or rainy and humid with some great breezes.

With that in mind, I try to do the best for my Big Horn Ram.

Sounds like your Ram gets great treatment! I think you can wait until 100k for plugs, and then do coil packs at same time.

Phil,

When I pulled the plugs at 106K they looked pretty good. I think you can wait. 2 plugs per cylinder so not as taxing on the plugs. I replaced with NGK Iridium (I think that was OEM spec). 0 issues.

Thats what I kind of fugured. Then it probably would be a good idea to check the brake fluid moisture level either by color, or strips that your dealer probably has.

Brake fluid is on the agenda to do. Although the fluid looks good, the Ram is 7 years old with the same fluid. It has been topped off now and then. Thinking is would be best to take it to the guys same guys that changed out the differential fluid and watch them work under the lift. For $25, it is worth it.
With all I have done to the Ram in the last 4 weeks, I should be okay for the next 30k miles or 3 years.
Belize is nice if you can adapt to humidity and heat. It is like living in Houston, TX except without all the conveniences.
