I've searched on these forums and on google in general for an hour or two, and have even called a few dealerships and can't get a definitive answer, so I'm asking desperately for some help!

-I have a 2012 Crew 4wd w/ 5'7" non-rambox bed. The bed was smushed by a tree and I want to replace it with a rambox bed.
-I found a color-matching bed from a 2021 Classic. I don't know the cab size or if it was 2 or 4wd, I only know it's a 5'7" rambox bed.

The dealers are saying the frames share part numbers for both bed styles from 09-12, then from 14-21. My guess is this is suspension and/or drivetrain mounting point related, but I don't know.

Does anyone know if this would be a direct swap? I'd go do some measuring but I'm several states away.

Thanks in advance!

Stop by a dealer and look at a truck on the lot for measurements, my guess is just the carriage bolts need to line up . If they match ,should bolt on.

I know they still build the ”classic” model, but I didn’t think you could get the Rambox on any Classic model since the 5th gen 1/2 came out.
