I am on the fence between replacing my plastic black door handles and tailgate handle with chrome ones versus purchasing chrome covers for them. I would love to get your opinions or the pros and cons of each.

The caps don't last. The finish wears off within a year. Mine did.

If you can swing it, replace it. As mentioned, the covers are not as durable.
