Nope first I heard of it happening when closing a door ! Must have got cracked somehow and the pressure of closing the door made it pop.
I would check the pressure vents behind the rear seat to see if they are plugged up

Other guys in here have had that happen and the thinking is what Rado said. Combination of pressure vents clogged or blocked or something along those lines together with a small crack in the glass.

I don't know what would cause the rear cab vents to restrict air flow
Water entering the 3rd Brake light, would likely flow around the rear window, but could it follow the window frame, back under the window ?
Between the rear of the cab & the front of the bed, there is a rubber flap, it can be seen from between the 2 & looking down

There is no way the action of closing a door cause the window to shatter. These trucks or any other vehicle for that matter are not sealed air tight.

never heard of it,, but if you pay a local glass shop in cash it shouldn't be more then $200. Either something hit it or there was already a crack and the sudden pressure finished it off.

I went outside this morning to find this broken window. Like other comments, no evidence of projectile, glass was mostly on the rear passenger side, little on the rear driver side. Happened overnight or prior to noon, when I went outside. Temps from 45-75 degrees during this period. Doors were still locked. Note, glass was still in the window frame, looks like it broke from the center? I’ve had this truck about 6 weeks.

That sucks, My guess someone did that ! We been having issue up here on and off with kids going wild

ive had other cars windows blow out before in extreme temp changes. for example snowy morning and then it gets super hot from sun afterward. idk what causes it. flaw in glass or the something around the frame where its sealed causes pressure. no clue. ive had them be fine for 10 years and just one day do that. its usually days when there is a lot of moisture too.

I’ve heard of the pressure from closing a door can blow out glass. This is why all cars have pressure vents. Safety glass is not really that hard to shatter, a sharp edge or something and some pressure or just pressure on a large enough surface can bow the glass and shatter it.
