Hii all I have 2018 ram 1500. I'm trying to figure whats going on with my fog lights.
The fog light button illuminated and the light on the dash comes on but I havmt got power to the actual lights. Are they fused any where I looked in the fuse box by the battery but there wasn't one for fog or head lights. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks

As mentioned above,

Push on the round selector operates the Fog lights, which will illuminate a green dash light. the square button on the lower left operates the Cargo light which will illuminate an amber light.

Provided you know this, and your still not getting it to work…… I’d look at the bulbs. If the fuse has popped, you shouldn’t get the dash light regardless.

There's no push button on my round lights switch i though the fog lights button was the one next to the interior light dimmer switch. Your right badger13 lol. So if I don't have the push on my headlight awitch I'm lost

Just to confirm I just downloaded my build sheet and I do have fogs listed on there . I was wondering whether someone had put a newer bumper on that has fogs where maybe the original hadn't. This truck is on a rebuilt title so perhaps I'll just have to work thru the quirks

Rebuilt title? Does the VIN tag in the windshield match the VIN on the door jam sticker? This could be even deeper.

Do you physically have fog lights in the bumper?

Post a pic.

Also…… are you able to ‘push’ on the headlight selector? Looks like the markings might just be rubbed off.

There *should* be a sticker with a bar code and part number on the back of the switch (if you remove it). That is ...if it's a Mopar switch. Then you can look it up. But you already know what is isn't. You might want to do an options look-up (or have the dealer print out a list of your truck's options). Are your fog light 'wired up'?

The fog light switch activates the lights through the canbus. So any junkyard headlight switch assembly with the symbol on the big dial will work. Provided it's the same profile as the old switch assembly.

I had the same fog light issue with my 2014 ED. There are no fuse blocks in the traditional sense: The canbus handles all the lights.
I bought a knockoff replacement switch assembly and have no problems since. It's a simple swap out.
You may be missing the round knob fog light push indicator because someone previously replaced the original.

hello
there is no switch to see, you just push on the round button. that is how you turn on your fog lights.
Now if you push the round button in does it turn your fogs on and the sensor on your dash during daylight will not put them on until dark........
so dont test in daylight.!
