Between 20 and 23.5 MPG typically, and mostly highway... As soon as I'm in the city for a day you can throw those numbers away lol

545 with 3.55's is horrible for mileage, mine has always been under 14mpg, lost a little more with the bumper and tires. I do think when I travel many hours I can push that up a little, but not much, even on cruise control and 55 best I can hope for is 16. Never really mattered til now, we have a ridiculous energy policy, no reason for this self inflicted wound.

City driving mileage varies
driving through the city between 9PM - 5AM can be the same as Highway mileage

If your city has Stop Signs instead of lights, you likely save fuel

I used to get the 17/24 with the factory tires. I bought slightly larger tires and now get 15/21 ish.

I got as high as 30mpg towing a TT across Texas going west to east.

Going east to west I got 8 mpg on the same trip.

Winds are brutal to a large pickup. I usually head north/south across the Texas planes. Depending on the time of year, similar results.

2022 Limited, 3.92 gears, regular 5.7, 9000 miles.

I use 87 octane. I did 2000 miles of 89 and nothing changed when I switched to 87.

I get 16 mpg overall.
19 on the highway.
All hand calculated in Fuelly.

My vehicle says around 19 plus. I never checked by actual miles. I'll try and see what happens. Have my tire pressures at max... 55 lbs cold. 2021 Longhorn ECO with 3.92 rear.

2014 Longhorn CC w/ 3.92s. Mixed driving around 15-16. Purely freeway, 20-21 if I keep cruise around 73mph. Any more, mpg drops. 75-80 mph is more like 18-19mpg.

Towing a 4,500 lb 23' camper nets around 10 mpg on mostly highway driving up and down the mountains of Utah.

I’m currently averaging 8mpg tops, but it’s a 2010 trx4 that I’m flying down back country roads and logging roads with so that’s on me. Highway I’ve gotten 20 cruising at 72-73

Around town, with stop and go traffic I average around 16-17 so long as I drive like a grandpa... On the Interstate/Hwy I can get around 20 so long as I keep it under 75. I'm running 87 octane.

My 2018 computer "estimate mileage" is always more than actual calculation. It will show almost 20mpg when in fact it's closer to 18.5 I've run 89 Octane. It is better on mileage than 87. On the highway I'll get almost 22 mpg at 72 mph

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 SLT 4x2 with the 3.6. Mine reads 25 and only gets about 23. I just leave it parked on the weekends and drive a more fuel efficient vehicle.

The engineers designed the "fuel computer" to purposely lie to give you that "feel good" feeling. Having driven several different makes and models, and done real mileage math versus "fuel computer" math, I have discovered one immutable truth: fuel computers lie.

If you were do searches on this forum, you would discover many, if not most Ram owners' fuel economy calculator consistently reports slightly better results than hand calculate. Your fuel economy numbers seem better than what most report. Of course it all depends on the roads/conditions and style of driving a truck sees.

It would be interesting to see what the fuel economy would be if you ran a tank or two of 88 or 89. If you do, let us know what it turns out to be.
I ran 87, 89, and premium (93, I think), each for 2 consecutive tanks. No noticeable differences in performance or mileage. Non-FWD mode in a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie with a 5.7 and a 3.92 rear end.

Only hand calc’d mine a couple times out of curiosity. Leveled truck, 3.92 with heavy Nitto RG’ers and heavy fiberglass canopy. 20.5 mpg hwy at 75 mph, over that it drops to 19-19.5. In town is 16.5-17. What really kills it is idle time. I can make it get 10-12 when having fun. 13-14 towing my heavy 21’ fiberglass fishing boat. This is all in a very mountainous terrain.
Lol at the dude with the 3.6 v6 posting in here.
