Now you reveal the tires were actually used. The more this goes on the more you need to have the tires checked out. Maybe a weight flew off and it became unbalanced. Unfortunately these tires don't have the best history of being well balanced. But I went with them mostly for the miles people reported getting out of them. They may appear like new to you but may have 20k miles on them and be 3 years old. Used is used.
I understand, and yea they look new, but the ones that came with the truck were even worse, and I didn’t have the money to drop on 4 brand new tires. So how do I check to see if it has bad belt? And I’ll get them rebalanced at a diferent shop.

You probably need the tires "road force balanced" as stated earlier - many places do not have the equipment to do that.

A bad belt is often time hard to impossible to see externally - but look for a variation in the tread surface at one spot, like one rib being higher than the one next to it in one spot, etc.

You could also try rotating the tires in a X pattern and see if it changes anything - for better or worse - any change points to a tire or wheel.

I had that problem with my 2015 power wagon. Ended up being upper and lower ball joints. Try simple first, lol

How do you check for the ball joints? The truck has to be lifted?

I took it in to the shop. You can see the upper and lower when you turn the wheel but just take it in. A lot of shops won’t charge to take a quick look for you. If it is the ball joint they will need to do an alignment after they are replaced anyway.

I had a similar issue with mine. I got a vibration come in and go as I drove. Went back and forth to have the wheels Ballard twice at the same shop and the issue wouldn’t go away. Finally went to a different place and had them balanced again and the problem was gone. It’s worth trying a different shop sometimes.

I have the same issue. Mine comes in at 65 mph and goes away at about 72 mph whether under load or coasting. Even when towing but not as noticeable.

I posted a similar situation earlier...when it vibrates..shift to 7th and see if it goes away..mine does and the "cause" is suggested the 8cyl-4cyl system is the cause and "normal"

Another suggestion is to drive it manually in 8th. This eliminated the vibration/shudder in My truck

I bought new Continental tires for my 2018 Night Edition 2500 heavy duty. Tires were great. I got my tires rotated some time later and I got a vibration around 55mph. Went back to the tire shop and they did a rebalance and added weight. I still had the vibration so I went to my dealer. The tires were off over 7oz on the tires. the vibration went away. Some tire shops don't have equipment to properly balance is what my dealer told me, and their equipment might need to be serviced. No vibration now..

Anything spinning that’s out of balance will find the ‘range’ where it shows then whether above or below that point will go go away. Maybe a tire weight fell off. Were they glued on with adhesive? Take it back to your tire guy.

Ive had this truck for about 2 months. 2017 v8 Bought with 49k. Lately I’ve noticed this vibration feel when I’m from 36mph-42mph then it just goes away. Same happens if I’m slowing down, when I hit about 42mph it vibrates a little and once I go under 36mph it stops. I know MDS can make your truck feel weird due to the 4clnd being shut down, but i drive my truck on 8th to avoid ECO kicking in. I use 89 fuel and my tires were balanced about 1month ago. I haven’t checked MAS or sparks yet, but Is this something that I should be concerned about down the road?
I had a brand new 2011 1500 with the then 'new' MDS engine. I noticed a slight vibration through the pedal and seat beyween 40-45 mph. Took it in to the dealer 3x and they " couldn't duplicate it". On the 4th trip I took the mechanic for a test drive where he finally felt what I felt! After researching it and talking to engineers, they said they were aware of the issue, it is caused by the MDS system but there was no fix for it at the time. Their recommendation was to drive it in constant Tow/Haul mode. So in essence, they force you to pay extra for the MDS engine system that you basically had to shut off by usng T/H mode. Not sure if your 2017 has that button on the dash, but if it does, its worth a try to see if it goes away.

tow/haul doesn't disable MDS on the 2017, however it will delay upshifts which can mask it.
Or run in 8th.
Or just not worry about it, unless an aftermarket exhaust is on the vehicle. Some people must be really sensitive or just don't turn up the radio loud enough :)

Torsional vibration, nothing you can do about it, save yourself some frustration. Accept it and move on or trade it for something other than a Ram. Seriously.
