I will say this....even in auto drive mode, which is the most restrictive mode (full traction control....all the safety nannies in place)...............if you punch it more than 3/4 throttle, it WILL break the tires loose and leave twin black marks at 65 mph.........I did not expect that in auto mode at all......had to backpedal to get them to stick at 70 !!!
I have a buddy with one that runs 9.3's at 4500 ft DA,the damn thing is scary when he punches it on the street, even on drag radials, lol

1st time I punched it, it was in sport mode, and I expected them to spin from what I'd read, but I didn't expect them to literally get blown away.......2nd time I tried it in auto (full TC and all), and they didn't spin as hard, but still spun pretty bad......

I didn't want to put real sticky tires on it, as I do - or will, only had it a few days now - use it for road trips to see family, and that'd just waste those stickies...but I may have to look at another set of rims & tires so I have street tires for trips, and stickies for fun.

I also didn't realize, this car is basically a Demon with 20" tire/rims, street tires vice drag radials, bigger 6 piston brembos, and no drag mode for the suspension......everything else is the same.......

Took a buddy of mine for a ride in it and he was impressed...and his toys include a 78 cutlass with 1100 hp under the hood (all motor, no adders), and a 71 nova with 600 or so under the hood.......when they broke loose, the 1st thing he said is you need tires......LOL

He's right tho, you can't feel the torque on this car like you could on my SRT, cuz the tires can't hold the power - granted a lot less torque.

You'll definitely want 2 sets of rims, lol. My buddy even has the 15" brake conversion on his,so he can run 15's which opens up your drag tire selection, but you can get away with 17's with the stock rear brakes. He also did a mini tub,so he can get a fairly massive tire under the rear.If you look close you can see his rear tires in this pic.The green Challenger beside his Red Eye has 305's on an 11 inch rim,so you get an idea of how massive his rear tires actually are,lol Diablo has a suspension controller that allows you to tune the suspension so it'll act more like the 1320 and Demon's suspension.
You're missing the tranny brake / 840 horse option / the case hardened rear diff and rear gears /the HD 41 spline axles / high stall convertor and the shift mapping in the 8 speed ,that the Demons have, the Super Stock is about as close to a Demon as you can get,but a Red Eye isn't that far off. I think Chrysler claims around 10.5's for the Red Eyes while they claim 9.6 for the Demons

I love the idea of this; I hate the fact that you have to have a 2015 or newer to use it :favorites68:

You also need to have a factory adaptive suspension car,and there's a few 2015+ Scatpacks that don't have the adaptive suspension. A buddy of mine was going to bite on it,till we looked his 2016 392 Challenger over and it didn't have the adaptive suspension,it's the green car in this pic,on a 175 shot of nitrous, lol. Here's a bit better pic of the rear tires under my buddies Red Eye.

With that beast and drag radials, look for a 1/2 mile airstrip event they’re safe and a lot of fun especially with rolling starts.I took my z06 at rantoul airstrip and it’s a blast. And legally its the only way to get the thrill only 800+ can give.

Put some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's on it...man do they hook ! They are actually better in the rain then the pirellis were dry.....

Also put some powerstop Z26 brake pads on all 4 corners to get rid of the brake dust......less dust now after a 2500 mile road trip than I had after 50 miles with the brembo pads....and no noticeable loss of braking power either.

Managed to get 22-23 mpg on that road trip too...not bad for what's under the hood.......................

Can see the tire comparison a little better here.

Mini tubs really did allow for more rubber.
