So I‘be been studying the best way to level my 2010 Ram 1500 4WD crew can for about a year and finally made a decision. Originally had 20” rims with 265/60r20 tires. I lifted the front with the Bilstein 6112 leveling kit and added the Bilstein 4600 shocks in the rear. It’s 12 years old with 120k miles so ended up having to change the control arms. I also replaced the original chrome wheels with Fuel Off-road Vapors painted black. Finally I went with Toyo Open Country A/T 285/65/r20 tires. I’m extremely happy with the look, the ride, and the handling. Love to hear what you think.

Looks just right with the wheels and tire set-up.

Not sure if your able to in your state, but tinting the front side windows would really pull it all together.

Looks great! I really like wheels, not sure why.

Just a question since you all are talking wheels, tires, and levelling kits. I have a 2019 1500 Classic, with the "blackout" package, and the truck came stock with 20" black wheels. Any truck I had bought new before - 06,08,11,13, and 14 F150's all had the XTR package-I love chrome. Bumpers, wheels, running boards, etc. so this black is different for me.
I put a leveling kit it the front, and put on 35/12.5R20 Mud Terrains on the stock rims. They fit ok - no rubbing except at full lock on the steering with medium to high axle articulation. I am not a fan of big wheels with no sidewall on the tire. If it was up to me I would run 15" wheels and 35's, which would have a high sidewall, but I am told the smallest wheel I can run on my truck is an 18". I never got in to actual measurements, but there is a lot of room between my calipers and the rim.
I should be able to run 17" wheels, as some Classics come with 17" wheels, so does anyone know of an inexpensive black rim in 17" that will fit my truck? I don't want just plain steel wheels, and I have another set of chrome 20", and can get aluminum factory 17" wheels, but silver or chrome wheels on a white truck with all black trim doesn't appeal to me.
If anyone knows of a wheel in 17" that isn't crazy in price i would appreciate it.
