I have a 2013 ram 1500 limited the air bags and suspension system finally crapped out at 175000 so I switched to a monre conversion that I absolutely don't like. So my question is can I now just order any shocks springs and struts for a Gen 4 and it will fit. Or are the mounting holes different for the struts and springs any help please

Do a search in this Forum as a lot of members have done this already. I love the air suspension in my 16 limited. If it decides to act up I will repair it.

Yes anything and everything will fit.. In realty did not need to buy the kit could have just purchased the components and put them in. I put the monroe kit in as well and i feel no difference at all in the ride i actually find it rides better. Only thing i had to do is put some bags in the rear so i could hal some weight

What are you looking for in terms of ride? What didn't you like about the Monroe's?

Maybe try an OEM Mopar shock. I'm real happy with my truck's factory ride. And OEM's last waaaaay longer than any Monroe.

If you want something 'stiffer' go with like a Bilstein. Bilstein's are mono-tube shocks and though you pay a lot more, they last forever practically. Great shock, but there's typically a little extra kick over tar strips and things like that, esp if you have a stiffer load E range (as an example) sidewall tire. Regular 6-ply tires probably wouldn't be as noticeble. Maybe go to a used car dealer and test drive a Ram about your year which still has OEM shocks and see if you like that.
