I got that stuff and don't regret it. For 2019 you got some extra features with the NAV unit (including HD radio and a gloss black bezel) but I don't know if it carries anything extra in the new trucks.

Sport appearance is a personal preference. That's money that could go towards other packages but I detest chrome so was worth it to me, but probably not to most. I deleted the hood so got a few hundred back as the style of the sport hood isn't my thing.

The nav is an 800.00 ripoff. I've had them and they are junk.
If it's just the NAV you care about then it's not really worth it. To get people to buy it they add in HD radio and SiriusXM 360L that you can't get separately.

The truck I wanted had it (bought off the lot) so I ponied up for it. I enjoy the HD radio (360L was only available on the 12" for uConnect 4). I use it on occasion as my iPhone isn't always plugged in and I don't always have my nav app open so I use the in-truck NAV for quick detours if I come up on unexpected traffic or an accident. It's not the most useful (I'm not a TomTom fan) but I don't regret the purchase at all.

That being said, with wireless CarPlay for uConnect 5 I probably would only use the truck's NAV as a novelty unless it's better than the stick diagrams I get for my uConnect 4 NAV on the 8.4". If I got the 12" display I would probably get the NAV as that has more info than my smaller screen (the NAV on my dad's 12" is much better than on my 8.4").

I've never seen an oem nav system worth anything. Google/Apple maps is far superior and is constantly updated.

Definite YES on LED headlights. Probably wouldn't go for the extra "signature" led lighting tho. Not sure if Ram has that additional option but some makers do... fancy drl and blinkers and such.

I believe all the hoods are the same now except maybe the Rebel
Maybe for the Big Horn, but you can still get the sport hood on other models according to the NADA build website. For instance, you can get the sport hood on a Limited if you select the Night Edition package.

Uconnect 5 NAV came on the limited or I wouldn’t have paid for it. It is actually pretty decent and I use it over my phone just because it’s right there and is full screen. LED lights are nice at night but not sure I would have paid for that either if I had the choice. Wanted the limited interior so got stuck with everything.

I dont look at it as a $2900 added addition. I look at it as things i like , though i wouldnt get NAV since Android Auto is free and better.....and then its the price of truck you negotiate that matters. That $2900 could be irrelevent if you negotiate the price to your liking and chances are you can get more than $2900 off the price.

When i got my 2018 Challenger the NAV was an option but you had to pay an X amount to activate it. Are you all saying now it is activated and it is $800 added to the price? I never activated mine.

Was you're two tone color from the factory or did you have that done? Ive never seen that combo on a lot. I like that combo.
It's almost impossible to find two tone on dealer lots. I special ordered this in Jan. 2021 and got it in March 2021. My timing was perfect although very lucky.

Do I spend an extra $2,900 and get the sport appearance package, LED package and upgraded Nav radio?? It bumps my payment $57 total. I’m a cheap guy by nature so I hate spending money. Thoughts? Thanks!
I got all the above and I absolutely love all of it. I could go without the Navigation but that 12" screen is a showstopper. I see a ton of silver Laramie's going down the road with chrome bumpers but the sport package is just sharp.

Your talking $2900? I'm m sure you already have made your decision, but to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, is how I live. Also it is better for resale value on the back end. $57 isn't much at the end of the day. ESPECIALLY today.

Does nav = 12" screen? It'd be hard for me to turn down that and led lights for 2900

The Big Horn has some great value packages if you're looking for an affordable truck. However, I've found that once you start adding individual options, you're quickly above the starting price of the Laramie trim. I've seen Big Horns priced well over 60K and you still cant get leather seats or Keyless Enter-N-Go (proximity door handles). I have a Durango SXT (base model) and it came with Keyless Enter-N-Go standard, as did all Durango's since 2014 I believe. That is hands down one of the best features to have but for some reason Ram decided to make it NOT available on their best selling trim level! I'm looking to purchase a Laramie but undecided between new or used. I'm waiting to see what happens with the used truck market in the next few month. The Laramie Southwest Edition seems to be the best bank for your buck package. You get panoramic sunroof, 12" touch screen and power folding side steps for $2700.

When I was considering new, I'd build an F150 and Tundra the way I wanted. XLT and Lariat were same price and SR-5, Limited, and Platinum were same price. I was just dreaming tho... hence the 30yo Ram.

I miss blind spot monitoring. Only available in limited. I wish I would spent the extra money.

I read up on the 2022 Rams
under the radio in formation, you get Sirius XM for 6 months trial period.
If you don't sign up for Sirius after 6 months is up

It reads that the radio loses something
Hopefully is just Sirius XM

it did not say if that something was AM/FM, Bluetooth, touch controls, or what. ??
The "lost" feature would be SiriusXM, but even if you renew it, that can be canceled later anyway if one so chooses.

On the other hand, losing AM (sadly) would not be much of a loss, as many AM stations have allowed their transmitter and antenna (specifically ground radial) systems go to hell in a hand basket... copper and installation are expensive, and their utility costs are increasing as well. More than a few AM'ers have called it quits, incluuding at least one "blowtorch" station. As for FM, I have noticed some really lousy signals lately, too... maybe it is just "conditions" but it has been more common lately. Either way, if their signal coverage/proofing remains diminished for long, they will draw the attention of the FCC.
