We haven't even paid the freight for the edu thing, that inflation will be as high as we have already seen. Gas has no path to be lower anytime soon, in fact the good bet it will go higher, much higher. Not championing one side or the other, what is done is done, I would not be surprised to see 10 bucks a gallon within the next 2 years and a month or two.

The next era is upon us, hard to argue that dexos gen 2 was an impact spec in the oil world, well last month we left gen 2 and are on to gen 3. Read about it here, as of sept 2022 we are now on dexos gen 3.

Look at 6 and 9, two points that are in opposition which each other, someone who pays attention to bobs how can gain fuel mileage and yet keep the same wear? My guess, this is on fresh or low mileage oil? If you look at the dramatic change from dexos gen 2 to gen 3, this should be discussed imo. In the graph all is positive, but maybe as we peel apart this onion our eyes will start crying?

Dexos gen two claim to fame was shear with stay in grade capabilities, and it remains the same in gen 3?

Didnt there used to be turbo deposits category? Now they say turbo cleanliness and do away with deposits category? The minutia in that one must be some story. Adding new categories where old formulations have no value? Looks good, ha? Look at old formulations for their "number one" category. Travis, what's up with that? smoke and mirrors.

Id guess its a different term for the same test of turbo charger deposts.

I know the wear protection for each is the same but i believe gen 3 did away with 1 engine sequence test so some think gen 3 oils wont protect against wear as well as a gen 2 oil. Im thinking wear protection is similar between the 2

dude is trying to sell a suburban, this is how he listed it

so for the most part a one ton, I have done the maintenance as needed and required. Like changing the oil every 3k miles with Lucas Heavy Duty oil treatment.

I misplaced my owners manual, so I am asking if anyone KNOWS if synthetic oil is REQUIRED for my 2019 Classic 3.6? Is conventional oil allowed? Thanks.

Seeing as a majority of the power is generated in the US from fossil fuel fired power plants, expect electric rates to skyrocket as well.

I don't get it, do these people think electricity magically appears?

Oh, and RL 5w30 is keeping my hemi smooth

You guys know anywhere other than Amazon to get PUP? Amazon had a great sale on PUP over the last couple months(3 5qt jugs for $45) but unfortunately FedEx is the delivery service and they can’t seem to figure out where I live (after 45 years) and both times they delivered the oil was nowhere to be found and I had to get a refund.
I was willing to try again with my work address but now the price is $124.99 and GOD knows when they’ll be another sale with this garbage economy and oil prices on the rise again!

I think it calls for 0w20 which by default is synthetic...

Napa it could be on shelf or they will order it for ya. By far the best service I've had from parts store. But if you see the price, you might opt for something else.

walmart online always top choice, there is like 2 or 3 items I buy from them a year that nobody can touch, mostly fertilizer, but you can get pup there.

33.94 for PUP 5w20 On Amazon. Cheapest I’ve seen. Saw 2 pk of PUP 5w30 on eBay for 73.00. Check Walmart.com too. I’ve found good prices there, as well

Federal distress is a freaking joke bro. They have been delivering to my house the last 7 years I have lived here and it’s a hit and miss. This last time they put that our address was not correct therefore couldn’t find it. I looked at what the address they had down and it was indeed correct. So an excuse for the driver. I called the main office and they said he couldn’t find it because the house address numbers were not in order IE 1,2,3,4,etc. I laughed and said really? Told them to look in my entire area and tell me where a singe block has addresses like that. Are usually by 10’s. She kept cutting me off I said they has better deliver my package as they can easily find it on any gps map. She said it’s his personal phone and he can chose not to do that and just use our FedEx app which sometimes fails. I laughed again.

The next day my package was delivered and of course was damaged. I ended up writing a personal letter to the FedEx CEO in regards to the shady lackluster operations this specific office is doing. Needless to say I have had exceptional service since then.
