I Have a 2021 Laramie 5.7l e-torque with stock exhaust. I have been doing research on the site and the internet trying to figure out the best exhaust. I would like a true dual set up, at the moment it ill be cat back. The plan is to cut the pipe where the join and run separate mufflers and tips.

I am looking for opinions to see what you recommend for mufflers/exhaust set up. Do not want a lot of drone in the cab while cruising.

I called a shop and they wanted to make sure that changing my exhaust wouldn't void the warranty. Past research is that the dealer has to prove the exhaust caused the issue. Not sure if that is true. if anybody has any information regarding that please pass it on.

Thanks

My guess would be no, it won't void the warranty unless the exhaust caused the issue. Just curious why you want to change the configuration though. Even the performance cat-backs don't change to a true dual exhaust. Are you planning to include a cross-over in the design?

I haven't thought of a cross-over. I am looking for options. I have found some one line, but looking for a possibly cheaper than buy a kit online. If I go the kit way, I am not sure which way to go. Like an aggressive system, but raspy.

Usualy any exhaust mod before the cats gets the dealers in a tizzy and can give them a reason to void warranty on certain items but anything after the cat is allowable.

this is on my 4g 1500 hemi. cant imagine it would be much different in frame and exhaust paths on the 5g but i haven't personally been under a 5g

I would recommend a crossover, there is a motor trend video out there detailing the power difference between straight pipes, X and H pipes
I also think a crossover sounds better better but thats just me

this is a 2.5" stainless x pipe with 2 totalflow super 10 imitations. high quality knock offs though they sound great and no rattles so far. once their time is up I have 2 stainless race bullets waiting to go on haha

2.5 all the way back to meet up with the stock rear duals which are 2.25"

better be handy with a welder or have a good exhaust shop you know because there are no prefab kits for this

I brought my truck with my mufflers and xpipe in boxes to a muffler shop I know that works miracles and let them take care of the rest. took a few hours.
and it sounds downright amazing! definitely stands out from the pack!
turns into a low rumble when cruising on the highway.
HEMI gods thundering when you want. good times haha

I kind of like the sound of the Rebel GT. Sounds amazing outside and has no drone inside. Designed to work properly with Rams right from the factory.

I went with Borla Touring cat back. Fit perfect and zero drone.

Now it sounds like a hemi.
