Well that’s disappointing

Update: It appears that Ram does not want anyone to know the warranty on the 2022 eTorque Power Pack. I could not find a Ram document anywhere that provides explicit terms. Ram chat said 5/60, Ram phone cust serv said 3/36, no one would provide documentation. The answer is, have your Service Manager print out a "Coverages Report". Mine came up showing, based on my VIN, that it is indeed covered for 8/80 under emissions. This is a huge relief.

Thank you to several guys in several forums attaching relevant documents to their posts that helped me figure it out. There is one guy that had the answer but I after reading myself blind over the past 3 days I can't find the post or name. He attached his "Coverages Report" but at the time I did not know it was from the dealer. He had it right, he is the clear winner! Whoever his is, thanks!

Perhaps I'll just pop now for a '22, and get the last true Hemi.

Do it. I elected to keep my 2010 Lexus GX460 instead of buying the next generation of one because I just cannot live life without a V8 engine and I am NOT a fan of V6 and twin turbos Toyota ( and other mfg’s) is putting in place of their smooth as butter V8’s.

Sadly, it's not going to happen for me. Between the games dealers are playing and the interest rates going thermonuclear, I'll have to hold off.

I'll just get a low mile used one, maybe next spring once the car market craters and we can get back to something resembling affordability.

Meanwhile, I'll just hang out, pitch in here and there, and drive the trusty old '09 Ford till I can get something at a price that won't give me a heart murmur.

5.7L NON E-TORQUE 3.92 gears 4x4
Therre is no alternator on etorques, it is the etorque. It provides low end torque off line or at low driving speeds like 5 mph. In the hemi it's 130 ft lbs so it's a decent little bit.
I'm a new etorque owner(brand new, has 800 miles), and although I wasn't a fan, it's pretty shocking how smooth the technology is when it is engaged. That alone makes me more confident in how long it will last. When start stop is engaged, you can't even tell the engine turns back on.
A additional 130 ft lbs of torque should certainly whip you the hell back more vs a regular hemi, a co worker has a new big horn with the 5.7L E torque with start / stop and said he does not notice anything different except the start / stop & he gets 1 more mile per gallon. He had a 2019 5.7L warlock before that with 3.92’s, the new truck has the 3.21’s. That extra 1 MPG is probably from the gear ratios.
