First post, so hello everyone!

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi Sport RWD Crew Cab w/ 6'4" bed, ARE MX shell & 22x9" all in stock form except the shell and a K&N filter.

I would like to drop the front 2" and the back 4". I thought about going with belltech 963sp kit at first, but I think I would have less issues if I went QA1 TS514 in front and TS905 in the rear. Now for the questions!

Which are better springs? Belltech or Crown? Or it doesn't matter, they are the same quality? If I go with Crown springs, what bump stops should I use? Which Hellwig adjustable stabilizer bar end links do I use on a 4" drop. The 8"-11" or the 6"-8"?

I'm thinking of going with a Spohn Performance D09-1500-104 adjustable panhard bar. Am I missing anything?

Op, your mixing and matching parts.

Belltech offers a 2/4 kit. It's common and comes with everything you need to get the drop completed. It's also inexpensive compared to what you described in your post. If you want qa1s, you can always add them later. Belltech shocks will not last, no shocks will last.

Or you can purchase the inez kit, which is dropped control arms in front that retain your factory springs and their springs in the back and give you options from 2/4 to 5/7.

Or you can do spindles and springs.

My humble opinion, don't make it complicated. You will achieve better ride quality with a kit designed to work together vs separate parts cobbled together

Another thing I would like to add to the previous post is although not 100% necessary, if you do decide to go with the Belltech drop, I would 100% recommend doing shorter shocks, whether you go with the QA1 or Viking option. You can get the Belltech kit with their lowering shocks, but I noticed a significant improvement when I switched to the QA1. Just my 2 cents.

gbark80 what QA1 shocks did you use? I can't find any listed for my 2014 so I just bought the Belltech Street Performance shocks since I have 22 x 10 wheels. I also used the Hellwig adjustable rear sway bar set on the firmest, or closest to the rearend position, with the supplied Belltech endlinks. No sway or wobble, but, I have a lot of wheel spin now when it used to hook hard. Of course the control arms are pointing down some, but not as much as I've seen on other trucks. Did you use relocation brackets or adjustable control arms on your truck?

If you're spinning hard on launch, you'll want to do the "cut" relocation brackets. They bring the rear arms back to where they start to apply some body seperation to force the rear tires into the ground and create some body seperation. If you look close you can see them in these pics. These are the older Illicit brackets on mine, and with them, the truck will hook on a skating rink.

Thank you sir that pretty much settles what I'm going to do, once I find a shop to install them. I have 285/45/22 Nitto 420V tires that stuck enough for me to feel the rear squat & the body separate. Felt like launching on drag radials at the track, now wheel spin at more than half throttle. I see you also have the Hellwig sway bar, do you have the front one? Love the rear bar, took a nice long left hand curve at 65mph & the truck was stable & drove right out of the curve when I got back in the throttle. My brain kept saying the rear end was going to lose traction but it stuck all the way through.

Front swaybar what's that, lol. My tuck is a pavement princess/dragstrip toy,and hasn't had a front swaybar since it was about 2 months old, lol. My truck technically is a 4X4,so there are no aftermarket front swaybars for it,but it hasn't had the front diff/cv axles/front driveshaft etc. for the last 7 years, all it still has as far as 4X4 parts go is the transfer case, it's still in place, the rest is in storage and will go back in when i sell or trade it.
