I’m needing a new set of tires , 275/60r20 is what is on my 2016 1500 regular cab 4x4 . It is completely stock and I’m just wondering if I will have clearance with 285 65 20. Also interested in wheel spacer ( I know a lot of people don’t like them) , just wanting a wider beefier stance with making as least mod’s possible. But clearance? If so what would be suggested to largest spacer if applicable.

Tire size calc I think 34's fit without a level, but the 285/65 is more like a 34.5. You may have rubbing issues. You can get 33x12.5r20 which will be over 1 1/2" wider without being taller.

Wider may rub with stock wheels but not sure. 285 is not a whole lot wider. May need more offset to clear the UCA but not to much. May be able to get away with a small spacer to get you the needed offset. A few guys running 275/65r20 which is a 34 and no issues.

Sorry for the late update but I decided to go with the 275/65/20. I believe they measure just barely over 34” but I have no rubbing or contact at all. Honestly believe I could’ve went with the 285/65. I am in the minority who has 20x8 stock wheels and seems like are able to get by with alot more than the 20x9. But thanks to everyone.

I had 285/60 20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my stock 20x8 wheels on a stock 2017 2WD crew cab and had zero rubbing issues.
