I ordered a Ram Laramie 3500 Mega Cab on January 16, 2022, on June 27th it was Built.
As of September 8th, Ram Care or the Dealership was know idea when it will be shipped. TBD
Does anybody know what the scoop is?
My truck should be in my shop, bot exposed to the elements.
I can almost see the Federallys enjoying their new Mega cab with a machine gun mounted in the back.
They should be built in the USA
RAM needs to send a convoy of transport trucks and bring our TRUCKS home....
Still waiting I ordered in march

Ordered mine with HO Cummins in may. Build time didn’t seem too bad. Built in august and started its journey to my dealership early in September. Been sitting in a rail yard in Illinois for a few weeks now. Tracking system still says it has not shipped yet. Dealer has more information than the tracking website.

I ordered a 3500 Laramie in March of 2022. Tracker says it was built on August 19th. But still has not shipped, yet the estimated time of delivery is October 17th. Has anyone else had this happen. At this point I dont know what to do plow season is coming and this truck may not show.
I ordered a 3500 Laramie in may. Tracker says built august 18th. Tracker shows not shipped yet but dealer told me it was in a rail yard in Illinois now. At one time the tracker said estimated delivery October 8th. Now it says TBD.

I don't think you can compare box car movement with Auto transport rail car movement, I know of guys who had there trucks sitting in a rail car for 3 months before the rail yard got it unloaded (the rail road is short of workers, they laid off a lot of workers due to Covid but will only hire them back at a lower wage and most have said heck no) I was lucky in mine only sat in the Spokane rail yard for 3 weeks before it got unloaded in March of this year... I bought mine from the biggest Ram & GMC dealer in North America even they were at the mercy of the Rail Road waiting for them to unload rail cars so they could arrange transport trucks to deliver them to there lots. In fact when I picked mine up in mid March there was 3 transport truck that arrived at 9PM loaded with truck for the dealer, I noticed that 2 of 3 transporter truck had 2500 & 3500 trucks all with Cummins engines the other GMC trucks...
Was it Dave smith’s in Idaho? If so, that’s who I ordered my truck from.

Glad you recieved your truck but this is what makes me irritated. Order 2 months before yours. Built before yours shipped but yet yours shipped before mine and still havent received it. Just ridiculous to me.

I can see how that would be very frustrating. Is it possible they are in need of something to technically “finish” the build? I’m thinking like all of those Fords sitting in lots waiting for nothing but a chip.

Mine is the 6.4 too, I’ve noticed a lot of the delayed order posts are for the Cummins.

I finally got work that my truck has left Mexico and should arrive in Kent Wa by November 3rd. Hopefully they will get it to the Dealership shortly after that.

Lots of speculation about that. But none of it seems to stick as far as part shortages. Almost seems like luck of the draw at times.

I ordered a RAM Laramie 2500 8' bed on June 1st. It finished assembly on August 12th. It has been sitting in Mexico ever since. No updates or information from Dodge. All of the excitement and anticipation is gone...

I think that Ram should offer 0% for 60 months for any customer that has waited over 9 months to receive their vehicle. When I ordered mine i was looking at 1.99%. Ram was offering 0 % for 60 months for 4th of July, missed that offer. With the Fed's jacking up the rates, it makes a big difference on your monthly payment. My dealer was hoping that I would back out of my order, so that when it came in, they could get an extra $10000 for the same truck. New Mega Cabs are hard to find.
Looking forward to getting my new truck. It's been a long wait.
IT BETTER BE IN SHOW ROOM CONDITION WHEN I GET IT

Ive been thinking the same when i ordered rates were 1.99 now they are closer to 4 percent. They better be doing something for us, especially if they release the 2023's

They aren't going to do anything special for folks that had to wait and watch rates go up. Be nice if they did, but they can sell that truck to somebody else if you don't want it. Don't mean to be harsh, but they know you're most likely going to pull the trigger no matter what the rates are.

Having bought my first house in the Jimmy Carter inflation era, when 10% mortgage was a fantastic rate, I'm still in shock about how cheap money has been the last few years. But the party was not going to last forever.

It is a good thing that I will only have to finance $20,000. Alot of people that are getting new Rams with less down, will hurt alot more. At least my I will have my truck next month. Hope everyone else will get theirs soon.
