FCA used to have their 4th Gen wind tunnel tests posted, but now all i can find are the wind tunnel tests on the 5th Gens. The 4th Gens would need the scoops at least 4" higher to get any kind of ram air factor by the wind tunnel tests.Chrsyler engineers knew that way back in the 60's though,as that's why their add on drag scoops were roughly 6" tallThe stock one does pull in "some" air in 3d Sim. I do agree it needs to be higher to best optimization. Which is what we did. 3/4 of inch higher than stock.
Didn't want it look ugly, but also functional. Since it was all done on 3D sim, and I never put them on, hard to say the exact high in practice would be.
