I finally got to use the lights on my 3 week old Limited Longhorn 2500 today. Hauled the bass boat up to Table Rock Lake for a little early fishing. The lights are nice, and I really like the very bright, white LED lights. Some of the roads were very narrow and twisty, being in the Ozarks. It was cool to see the lights move with the steering wheel. I like that part so far. Auto brights sensitivity was perfect.

Ran into one setup issue. When adjusting the backlights for the dash, the 12" uConnect screen was either FULL bright or almost totally dark. Stopped to try and adjust it, but I could not change it, it was greyed out. Got home and tried again. No joy. Finally broke out the manual and found out to adjust it, the dash rotary control has to be in the lowest setting with the lights on. Weird, but it worked. Adjusting the daytime brightness does not require the dial be all the way down to adjust. You'd think that would be consistent, but at least I got it lined out.

It was an easy pull, of course. The Cummins didn't even know it was there. But I sure miss my Quadsteer 3/4ton GMC Yukon XL on roads like those! Caught some decent bass and saw some great fall colors.
