Does anyone happen to know if one can change settings (Tire size, whatever) with the Demo/Free version of AlfaOBD or does only the paid version allow that?
Asking for a friend ;-)

Not specific to AlfaOBD, but something I noticed when changing my tire size with it (which went absolutely flawless).
The tire I have has a specified diameter of 34.53", calculated circumference is 2755. Inflated to 50 psi, the tape measure said 2760, so well within expectation.

However, when I programmed it, vehicle speed vs GPS was off by 4%. I finally have it showing the correct speed at a circumference of 2670mm, or almost 100mm/4" off. So maybe RAM has a correction factor in there somewhere?

Thanks everyone!

Installed the S-V.4 HEDs into the Highs of my 2018 projector housing ..... This definitely took a little work with the Dremel tool on the housing!!!

Used my MX+ and AlphaOBD for the first time!
Only issue was that I was only able to find where the green connector hooked in (just like an Autel bypass I had used before) but want able to connect the white connector. All seemed to work well.
I was able to:
Enable HID, Enable LED High Beam (just for the heck of it), Disabled Fog Light Dropouts, and Disabled the annoying Seatbelt Warning. Thanks everyone here for help!!!

Hopefully HID Lows arrive tomorrow
Any chance you remember what you changed to disable to seatbelt warning? Been scrolling through the log and haven’t seen it yet. Thanks!

Is this the correct AlphaOBD selection if using OBDLink MX+? I can't connect.

Hey guys, being that we can choose whether the appropriate DRL on either side turns off or stays on when the turn signal is activated, can we by any chance disable the function within the BCM or somewhere else that turns off the DRL’s completely when the headlights are switched on?

The reason why I ask is because I bought a set of switchback LED light bar strips that I’m going to use as my DRLs during the day that switch from white to orange sequential turn signals and being that I’d like for the white LEDs to wait until the transmission is shifted from park to drive or reverse before they turn on if I connect them to the dedicated DRL wires that goes to the headlights but I’d also like it if they stayed on even at night when the headlights were on as well but like I said, I’d need to be able to set the BCM to not turn the DRL’s off when the headlights are switched on so, is this something that can be done? Thanks.

Hello, i found the forum while looking for information about Alfaobd. Why when connect to the program, I can choose more than one of the listed ecu and connect to it? For example, on my fiat bravo, I connected successfully to all of the listed bosch ecu's(not at the same time but all of them gave successful connection). Likewise, I can perform operations like a reset of the self-adaptation parameters. Is this expected?

AlphaOBD will connect to the correct module as long as the module you pick communicates the same way as the correct one
it will ether fail to connect OR connect to the correct module

no there is NOT an option to have DRL stay on with headlights that I have seen and from a manufactures POV I dont see why they would make it an option
could disable DRL and wire the lights to an ignition source not "ideal" but it would be close to what you want

Thanks. Yeah, I didn’t think there was but I guess I can see what you’re saying but then again I’d be awful curious to know how other manufacturers are like especially on those cars that have pretty much the factory version of what I’m adding to my truck that you see on even at night time, how they’ve got those wired up. Hopefully somebody with a dodge Durango will chime in because those cars have pretty much the same type of headlights as the premium projectors on these trucks but they also have that integrated white LED strip in them that I would imagine is hooked to that dedicated DRL circuit that I was wanting to use so, it would be interesting to know how those lights operate; like, if they stay on at night time or not and when exactly they turn on. I know that after the new fifth GEN body style came out in the ram trucks, there was a lot of people complaining about the white LEDs that surrounded those headlights that were gone all the time.

I know that the white DRL’s on my wife’s Honda Civic stay on at night time but I can’t remember if those lights come on as soon as she starts the car or if they wait until the transmission is shifted out of park.

Does anyone know what happens if you say yes to sport mode? My truck is a sport but no idea what this does.
Also, the auto park, is that like when you have the door open and it shifts to park automatically?

So I had major issues with the TPMS system and I knew it was something I did in the BCM. It took a lot of convincing and three dealerships to finally "nuke it from or orbit". After that I finally got a clean backup of my vehicle's config but my phone answer/end button (it's the Gen 4 single button) will only reject the call or end a current call, it won't answer a call. Any suggestions on what setting will do that?

What do you mean by video lockout when you’re driving? I do know that we can disable the text input lock on the factory navigation when you’re driving, but you can’t do that with alpha; you have to use that Tazer device for ram and it needs to be connected to the diagnostic port all the time in order to do that.

Hi from Down Under. I have changed some settings and some stuff appears to be working. Since my vehicle is converted to right hand drive, I wonder what would happen if I changed this setting in the BCM?

Hey mate, I am in New Zealand and have the same question...I fitted some Amp Research side steps and the rear doors are reversed when opening and wondered if setting to RHD would resolve this. Currently when I open the drivers door (right front foor) the dash show the left front is open. Something in configs somewhere that have had the dront doors reversed when converting, but the rear doors are not. Amp basically told me to go away as my Ram 2500 is RHD.

From doing a lot of reading I'm pretty sure it can't be done, but I want to ask to be sure. Can a replacement RF Hub be programmed using AlfaOBD? My cousin has a 2015 HD and his 3rd brake light leaked onto his RF Hub and took it out. The dealer wants $1600 to replace it. I've programmed keys with alfo obd, but I can't find anyone that has programmed an RF Hub successfully, unless my search skills have got bad.
