Is there not a second plug down in the center console toward the front???.
Unless it’s only on certain models

I didn't see one. I'll look again but the only ports I see are the 4 USB ports. I also have a 110v receptacle at the bottom. Maybe on the trucks that don't have that it's s a cig lighter instead?

I just bought a new truck. It's a 2022 Bighorn CCLB. I really like it. At first the 5th gens really didn't do anything for me but that changed. I love the chrome. I still think the 4th gen look better without it (Express & Sport) and the 5th with it. But again that's only my opinion.

The mods on my short list are step bars so my wife can get in it, bed liner, and a tonneau cover. Some other mods I did to my last truck don't need to be done to this one because it has them. Mainly the brake controller, class 4 receiver, and remote start. The rest is up in the air. Here are some outside pics from my driveway and some inside from my test drive.

Beautiful red! We shopped for a used 2019, Carvana only had black. I love this truck alot! Tows like a dream. My first truck, the Hemi was a bit overwhelming at first, but got used to it fast. Great on the open road, and puttering around Chicago and it’s narrow neighborhood streets. enjoy!

I really like Rams more than Chevy & Fords for different reasons.
I’ve got a 2018 2500 Longhorn crew diesel that I’m afraid I will need to part with. I simply don’t have a need for a diesel with the HP & torque coming out of these gas motors now a days…
I’ll miss her dearly

I like your choice of color, for running boards the Ram ones available are very
good, and for a cover, get an Access cover, a soft roll-up cover, I have had several over the years, they work very well.

Congrats on the new Truck! I too have purchased a 2022 RAM 1500, but with the 3.6L ETorque. I recommend looking at NFAB steps and Diamondback Covers. Both are exceptional products that I've used on different trucks and have been 100% satisified.

I ordered a set of polished stainless Lund steps. I used them on my last truck. Those were black stainless and they developed a bubble in the finish after a couple of weeks. I called Lund and sent them a pic. They sent me a new set of bars right away. That kind of customer service and product support gets my loyalty, so I bought another set from them.

As a matter of fact they arrived today. (Two days early) Ram couldn't have made install any easier with the studs. Lund has six universal mounting brackets. Doesn't matter what position they go in, left or right side, front, middle, or back. It took me about 15 minutes per side. Much easier than my 4th gen. They don't stick out that far either. They are the 5" bars. 20221101_164825.jpg20221101_164836.jpg20221101_164853.jpg20221101_164900.jpg

Apologies for the hijack Loudram! (btw - congrats on your new Ram; it looks fantastic!)
Hey @MADDOG , do you fly the same handle and Avatar on LXF too?
If so, good to touch base again, Brother!
