Not a mod, but with the Canadian winter right around the corner, being able to give it a full clean (comfortably) is a big deal haha. Turtle Wax Ceramic Coating is without a doubt one of the best products out there. I've gone through hundreds of different cleaners/waxes/coatings, and nothing has ever made such a difference like this one has.. so shiny it looks wet!

Pulled the paint protection film off the front end because it was getting spots all over that wouldn’t wash off. Took about 2.5 hours to get all the glue it left behind off
Then gave her a quick bath

Thanks :waytogo:

Unexpectedly, came across a 2017 2500 that was being parted out. Had wanted to do the swap eventually, but when all the parts where there…… I knew I couldn’t pass it up.

Wasnt thrilled that I had to disassemble and remove it from the 2500…. but actually turned out to be a blessing as I could make sure ‘ALL’ the little parts came along and was actually a good practice run for doing the swap.

Hope to get it all wrapped up this week when I get back :waytogo:

Any thoughts of reapplying new film? Looks like it did a good job :waytogo:

After 4 years with a DDM Tuning canbus kit in my projector low beam, I was getting intermittent no light on one side, so I did the entirely reasonable thing and replaced everything with a Morimoto full 35W kit. I already had the Morimoto relay kit so it was plug and play. While I had it apart I swapped in DDM Tuning SaberLEDs in to the high beams.

Next step at some point will likely be full headlight led swap, but I read bad things about all the aftermarket brands so who knows. Leaning toward the Morimoto XBs for now, but that's a tough pill to swallow to buy those.
