Has anyone had issues with the clock gaining time..in a big way? My 2021 Ram 1500 Warlock has a clock that gains many minutes in a few hours. Anyone have this issue or know a fix besides resetting every day?

Sounds like a defective clock. I know of no setting that can slow it down.

With the 8.4 radio you can set the clock to be synced from the GPS, try changing the setting

I agree that GPS time will probably appear to fix the problem but, it really won't. If it is gaining time like you suggest, something is wrong. Get it fixed as you really don't know if something else is or will be affected.

That's called "Age - time seems to speed up the older you get"

LOLOL ... an old joke told to me at a watch shop when I went to get my Fathers watch fixed for the same reason.

As stated, you'll probably have to get it swapped out, or switch to GPS time.

Good luck.

2015 RAM 1500 Laramie. Clock runs 3 minutes ahead of internet/cellular time even though it is set to internet time to automatically stay correct. Consistently 3 min ahead of phone internet/cellular time. It started this several months ago. Asked dealer to look at it and he said tech reset it. Did nothing I can tell, still set to cellular/time. Going off warranty at 87,000 end of month. Anyone know what this might mean.

The clock in my truck is very accurate, never need to change it. I would say that something is wrong with the electronics.

Or - you need to adjust your flux capacitor...

For some reason mine is starting off in central time zone and after about 2 minutes it goes to the correct eastern time zone. It started doing this when we were going east from our summer trip and when it got to eastern it was messed up.
I DO have the setting to be on GPS time.
Can't figure out how to correct that.

Ha ha, well, my concern is that something is going wrong in the 8.4 unit. Has been accurate for 7 years till now. Concerned dealer didn't see something that will be a problem when truck goes off extended warranty. Set to GPS time and 3 min fast may seem insignificant but maybe a early sign of something important?

Maybe so weird software bug? You might check the Ram website, see if there is a newer version of the UConnect software. You can download it to a memory stick, plug it into the truck, and update. Directions on the website are clear and easy to follow.

Can't hurt.
