No dealers are looking to give money off right now. I am just hoping mine doesn't try & pull some crap of charging what they are selling for now as compared to what they were in January when I ordered it. They have gone up nearly 10k since I purchased it!!! They "say" the price is locked in, but the interest rate is not. We'll see. The way the Fed's are going that will be up two points before I get my truck!
Interest rates are why I did not special order a truck in Dec and instead bought one the dealer had coming off the line in Jan as felt that the under 3% interest rates I could lock in would not last and as it turns out they went up a lot...

Today marks the 3 months waiting for the shipping date. My Ram Laramie 3500 Mega Cab is still sitting in Mexico. No communication from Ram Grand mentor since August 30th. Ram care sends them emails daily. Zero response

Yeah, interest rates are going to cost us more. Just ran a calc on a $60K loan over 72 months. At 3% vs 6%, you're going to pay about $6K more in interest if you take the entire 72 months to pay it off. That's a significant hit, and something I worried about when I ordered my truck in March.

OTOH, I am saving more than $13K off of MSRP (price locked) at Granger, so that is still much cheaper than paying full retail (+) for a new truck on the lot that does not have the configuration I want.

Mine is built and sitting in Mexico also. Status shows "shipped", but we all know that does not really mean it has shipped. It'll get here when it gets here.

Oh I hope not!!! Mine was built June 14th & is supposedly waiting on a train to. I will be inspecting the crap out of it when it arrives. Thanks for the heads up! I will be steaming if I waited over 6 months for a truck that will have hail damage! :fca5278d::flame:
Our 3500 Mega cab was ordered Jan 2022. Completed Jun 28. No entries since that date. No ship date entered. No ETA entered. Nothing. Just crickets from the dealership

And Ram Care is keeping their mouths shut. Won’t disclose anything.

For those interested

At 60k

3% for 72 = $911.62 or $5636.68 in interest
6% for 72 = $994.37 or $11,954.88 in interest

0% for 72 = $833.33

Screenshot_20221003-200956_Chrome.jpgstill in mexico for me. Dealer told me they are getting mad as they've had customers order new heavy duties since my trucks been built and now theirs are further along in the process so he said the railcar shortage answer he is getting sounds like bs too
