A man of class! Even lined up the weave pattern when wrapping it! I like to see that kind of attention to detail on projects.

Now, I gotta ask, what is at the bottom of the center stack and/or front of the console for mounting hardware? I've got a squeak/rattle that can be stopped by putting light pressure on the console or center stack. They seem to be rubbing each other I'd guess.

Looked at getting some centramatic balancing rings installed on the truck today. They don’t make any specific for ram 1500 but they had some for 5 lug jeeps
Used a step bit to open the wheel stud holes up and they are so close to fitting but are blocked by the Brake caliper. It looks like I’ll need a 3/8-1/2 wheel spacer to get the clearance I need

Dumped in some love. Trying out Redline SL-1. Truck has 79k now, so its time. Have my standard PUP 5w-30 , RP 10-48 and trying out a bottle of Lubegard biotech. Inspected exhaust manifold, all bolts intact (miracle). Measured tread depth…12/32 on tires. Tires were installed at 14,500 mi. So these Falken LT tires have approx 64,500 miles on them. I wonder how far I can get with them!

Thank you as well.

Sounds like a loose ‘pop fastener‘. There’s (4) on each side of the center bezel, and the same on the console as well.

Not sure if this will help, but it’s a view with all plastic trim removed.

Disregard the bank of relays there as you wouldn’t have those.

Just had another thought on the above…..

On the forward facing side of the ‘Console’ bezel there are (2) small rubber bumper stops to prevent shaking, squeaks etc. I’d also check to see they are there.

Much appreciated! That looks like a good start to find it. I keep meaning to tear into it but always forget until I'm on the highway. LOL

That came out great! I wrapped all my chrome trim and the lower pieces in-place but haven't attempted the upper pieces yet. Removing the parts definitely is the way to go...maybe someday.

Thank you. Yes, takes a little time and certainly can’t ‘man-handle the vent trim, clips are not very thick and if you force it…. They will snap.

Not for what I did with the truck, it's more like what I did for what I will do for the truck haha

After I did the last oil change that, even after taking the wheel off because of my fatness and short arms, the oil filter was a PITA. I got a oil filter wrench from online. I tried getting to it with the wheel cocked again, it still looks like I need to take the wheel off. Too bad it wasn't prime able with shipping and tax it was a hair over $31. It looks like just exactly what I need to start the loosening process.

Dropped her off this morning for a new set of tires.
BF GOODRICH T/A KO2's and 4 wheel alignment. Wow, what a big bill that is going to be. Out of control.

I am right behind you, almost at the wear bars on my Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Not looking forward to that bill either!

Stared at mine in the drive way with engine torn apart pacing back and forth waiting for the heads to get done at the machine shop... :fish_h4h:

Couple grand?
Yeah, it's a big bill.
With the 4 tires, the mounting, balancing and the 4 wheel alignment,..........it's $1,800 out the door. Absolutely horrible.

I did that last year. Got rid of my Nitto Ridge Grapplers and went back to the KO2’s. They two tires seemed to perform similarly until there was snow on the ground. Then the KO2’s out performed the Nittos.

I think the 300-355's are what you needed. Looks like you got 300-356's

These are the 300-355
This is my first adventure with centramatic but my kit came with 2x 300-355A which are flat all the way across and 2x 300-355B which are stamped slightly in the middle
Neither of the parts fit on the truck around the brake caliper
