Transfer case skid plate install?

Howdy!

2020 Ram 1500 5.7 4x4. I found an orphaned factory xfer case skid plate for my truck (my truck was not equipped from new). Bolts were not included, it hasn't been installed before.

I can't see how it fits/bolts up under the truck. Need help, photos would be awesome! I installed the factory front axel/suspension one in about 10 mins, very intuitive.

Do you have "both" pieces for the skid plate install ?

Thanks for the reply. I only have a single piece and it looks different than what you have there. I will get a pic of what I have.

Never saw two pieces when I was scanning through the Ram accessory catelog. Hmmmmmm

This is for the 4th gen models, so it may be possible the 5th gen is designed different ? If your 2020 is a "Classic", this should be the one.

That is way different than the 4th gen. Sorry I can't help, but someone here should be able to.

I bought a 2023 3500 Laramie with AISIN. Ordered Transfer case skid plate after purchase. Only received the smaller piece that looks consistent with what you have pictured (upper left). Could not see an obvious way to install. Can you show pics of fully installed?

I'm thinking the transfer case skid plate on a 3500 might be different than on a 1500. If I get
a chance, I'll see if can get a picture of it for you.

The longer piece is fastened to the frame rails towards the rear. The skid plate itself is attached to that piece, and the front attached to an existing cross member. Hopefully you can see it in these pictures.
