How's the body lift ? Any noises? I am planning on eventually installing the 3" body lift too but I have to notch the body mount braces below the cab and reinforce them ..and also right now it fits in the garage, if I add the body lift it wont fit lol ...
I love it so far. I’ve had it a little over a year and haven’t had any problems come up. Your exhaust tips will hang low but 5 inch tips should fill the gap. I still never ended up buying tips lol, I just loosened them and angled slightly up and then retightened and you basically can’t even tell.

Fawkno! I am only 5'6" if that lol!!!! i'm a very short Mexican homie lol ...
Short squad checking in. 5’5 and I’m finishing up adding a 6” lift to the 3” inch body lift. Had to get 10 foot ramps just to get my bike in the bed. :D
Lol! 5’9 here, bit of a step up in there but it’s bearable

I had the same weird noise issue with my 2005 Ram 1500. I went through all of the suspension, ball joints, bushings, sway bar joints etc.
It finally ended up being the upper bearing on the rack and pinion. I jacked up the truck and reached through the drivers fender well and was able to grab the top of the steering coupler and it had quite a bit of play. Surprisingly it didn't leak a drop at the upper seal.
I replaced the rack and all is good now.
Hope this helps

Rob

I have a 2015 1500 that has a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift. I’m also running 22x14s with 37’s.
Lately whenever I accelerate from a stop, or when I’m braking or turning
I hear a a weird popping type sound.
When I accelerate from a stop it’s as soon as I hit the gas and it’ll be like 3-5 pops and then I don’t hear it until I brake or turn.
I already replaced my UCA’s, sway bar links and lower ball joints.
What could it be?
Drive shaft u joints replace them and thank me later

So just leave the driveshaft with bad angles? lol ... if the u joints are bad, they went bad because 2wds require the carrier bearing spacer kit .... some lift kits on 2wd you can get away with not using one but if he just replaces the u joints without adding the spacer kit to the carrier bearing those u joints are going to go bad again in no time ...

Maybe the truck is telling you it is too high, LOL, but at my age I don't understand all this lifting stuff, I would be more for lowering, easy getting in and out.

BTW I would get a couple big guys and rock the thing while under it on a creaper and listen for sqeeks , I am thing rubber bushings gone.

Popping, clicking sounds while starting from a stop is text book u-joints. And if it’s not the worst you did was a little preventative maintenance but it is so like I said he can thank me later

My old Sequoia did exactly that in 2WD and 4WD and the front and rear u-joints were indeed the culprit.

I also just discovered the u-joints on my Ram are now notchy… they “snap” into the centered position like a ratchet clicks into the next groove. Problem is, my driveshafts and u-joints look like they are a single solid piece of rust. Hopefully I can tap them out.

Appreciate the reply. I will definitely keep this in mind. I’m hoping it’s the driveshaft U-joints since I never installed the carrier bearing kit. But just in case…. Do u have the link to the rack by chance?
