Been around Mopar for awhile. 2 Challengers and this will be my 3rd Ram. Found a 1 owner low mileage (38k) 2017 sublime green 4th gen crew cab. Not a super big fan of the color in general, but it's so big and dumb it's cool, and I needed to have it, if you know what I mean.

41yo retired Marine. Been building and racing cars, trucks and motorcycles for about 20 years, even tho it was hard to have this hobby in the service. Always try to do all my own work and my own tuning etc.

Took a 2 year break from Dodge and built an 11.6 second Kia Stinger GT, which wasn't hard or expensive with it being a twin turbo awd V6. Cool cars, and you never see them, but they can be an absolute monster.

But now I'm back and ready to have another Hemi. Truck is 2wd and bone stock. Just waiting on the Kia parts to sell to fund this build.

Plans are intake, long tubes, catless Y pipe, muffler, lower, and tune. Then in spring do a cam and just have a big dumb bright green truck that's also fast.20221118_161939.jpg

Awesome color! You won't have any issues finding your truck in a parking lot.
I've got an 05, an 06, and am considering picking up a 22 Laramie tomorrow. I've got that Ram bug.

I had a 2020 Bighorn once upon a time. Those 5th gens are on another level of ride quality. Inside is a Ram, but a little nicer, but they ride and drive like a luxury sedan. My wife still beats me up a little every now and then for trading it.

I broke down and made a purchase. Took my 06 in for a service evaluation on the front suspension and wound up test driving a Laramie that had most of the bells and whistles that I've been looking for. The dealer had the right attitude (no pressure) and threw in a couple of options (tonneau cover and spray in bedliner) plus came off of the sticker price substantially, so I couldn't say no. I'm now the proud owner of a 2022 Laramie. First new vehicle in over a decade and while I'm not looking forward to payments again, it's a beautiful vehicle.

Ya I hear ya on the payment thing. But sometimes it just all comes together, and you can't say no. I traded my 2010 Challenger Srt8 with 34k miles on it for that 2020 Ram that they came way down on sticker price plus some extras, and I kick myself for it all the time, but everything was right and those 5th gens are so so nice compared to the 4th gens. Gongrats on the truck tho, you'll like it. Rides like a Cadillac and is almost as nice on the inside.
