That trucks a bit odd..

115V Outlet and Inverter Delete –$40
Connected Services Delete Credit –$250

I just bought a 22 dealer demo Laramie. It has the outlets/inverter deleted. Looked at countless Bighorn and Laramie 22s on line from coast to coast. The odd truck is one that doesn’t have one or both, the outlets/inverter and connected services deleted. Can only guess they didn’t have some components at time of assembly and rather than not build the trucks they just deleted the features.

About 4k under msrp plus another 2700 in "conditional" offers. If you make a loud enough stink and express yourself and walk off dealer lot after they have your number, they will give you those as well. The days of 10k-14k off seam to go away. I bought nothing but ad trucks in most of my truck purchases, if not I just don't buy it. You have the power until you give it away.

The problem is that it's a rare truck around here. CCLB with the 3.92 rear. It's the only one in the area like it. I don't want to lose it but I don't want to be ripped off either. The salesman was ok. I wasn't thrilled with him and the dealership has an OK reputation, not a great one. My wife doesn't like the deal. I might call tomorrow and offer a counter offer. They let me walk so maybe it was their best offer and they think they can get that price from someone else?

The other truck I was looking at was a CCSB with the 3.21. It'll tow my trailer just fine. The trailer only weighs 7100 wet and that's around the size of the one we might get next year. 32' 6500 dry which means 7600 wet for us . That's at another dealership and those trucks are all over the place.

I found other CCLB's in my area. They don't have the 3.92 rear but I'll be OK without it.

I was just looking at the incentives on their web site. They are giving me them but only telling me about some of them and making it seem that they are giving me something for my trade when in fact they are giving me almost nothing extra for my trade. They are just paying it off and keeping most of the equity for profit. I think they just blew it. I can't trust them now.

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes and they just won a lost sale!

Look at Mark Dodge in LA and then compare their price with a shipping quote vs what you're seeing local.

I know this isn’t what your post is about but just a small word of caution. I had a 1500 with the 1300 lb payload (look at the yellow door sticker). I was always over the max payload. Tongue weight (900 lbs), WDH (75 lbs) aftermarket truck accessories & stuff(200 lbs), people (400 lbs), misc stuff (100 lbs), Ebikes on front rack (200 lbs) you can see how I ran out of capacity to add stuff like BBQ, generator, firewood, air compressor, tools, camping chairs, etc into bed of the truck. My trailer was only a 23’ Lance. The manufacturers lie about their posted tongue weight. Mine was only suppose to be 650lbs. Anyway, towed with little issues but always left behind nice-to-have stuff in case I needed it. Upgraded to a 2500 with Hemi last year. What a world of difference towing. I dont even use the WDH anymore. And I have over 3,000 lbs of payload available. Just my $.02 worth. Good luck on your search.

Thanks but my search is over. I do know all my weights, I'm fine with this new truck. It has 1750 lbs of payload. My trailer is advertised as 650 lb tongue but loaded it's 950. Before I go on our first camping trip of the year I'll weigh my truck but I'm not worried. This new truck has 200 lbs more payload and I was fine with my last truck.

Noob here.

I just put in an order and deposit for a 2023 RAM CCLB with the HO Cummins from Mark Dodge in Louisiana back at the beginning of October 2022.

Still waiting for the factory to start the build based on the VIN/Last Name.

Got it for little under the employee pricing (EP) $ number. They said the only thing they'll add is their $444 fee; document, temporary tag, and notary fee as the only dealer added cost/fees. Tax, Title, and License (TTL) is paid directly to the DMV.

My question is if anyone has any experience having them (the dealer where you purchase from) ship to your home out of state. It is looking like about 1600-1700 miles from Lake Charles, Louisiana to Los Angeles, California. My sales representative quoted me $1.10 to $1.75 per mile depending on the price of gas and number of vehicles the transporter is carrying. Does this should about right; $1,870-$2,975 based on 1,700 miles? I am seeing online for shipping vehicles cross county for about $800? Any advise helps. Thanks.

For $2000 to $2975 I would catch a cheap air plane ticket and drive it home...

I didn't realize MD's fees were that high. At Granger, I paid a total of $225 above the 4% under invoice price. $180 doc fee and $45 temp tag fee.

I'd be worried about an $800 shipper. I just had a new dual sport bike shipped to me from 400 miles away and it cost me $350. Got here the next day in perfect condition, but I'd expect a pretty sizeable bill for a trustworthy shipper from LA to L.A. Lots of folks do as 06 Dodge suggests and fly out/drive it home.
