Just ordered Bilstein B8 Series 6112 to replace those crappy Ranchos Quick lifts up front.

Another great on/off road weekend in Montana, we took the muddy route up from Plains, MT through Bend Guard Station and up to the Libby Creek gold panning area, then into Libby for some mozzarella sandwiches & cheese soup at Cabinet Mountain Brewing.

envious of those mountain views

You could move up to Western Montana everyone else is! I'm not even mad inland northwest is in need of some fresh thoughts and fresh faces it's just going to take a little while for all the public spaces to absorb the newly expanded public.

Hey guys. Looking to upgrade the suspension and add some lift. I also tow my boat every summer and load up the bed for hunting trips so I wanted to keep some/most of my factory rake. Currently leaning towards Bils at 2.1 up front, so I don't need to touch the UCAs. My question is will 5100 rears handle 1.5" coil lift in the read. Thinking the tuftruck 1223VT? That would allow the variable coils to sit down 2" (about the rake I's have left) before the stiffer rate kicked in when towing, or even loaded up for hunting trips. TIA!

Would love to know if you ever did this and how the rear bilsteins held up. Thinking of doing the same thing. I did 2.8” up front with the 5100 level kit and currently have a 1” spacer in the back but want to upgrade to the 1223vt springs which have the 1-1.5” lift.

Many of the posts here list Bilstein 2.1" lift in the front and a 1" rear spacer. I currently have 2.5" coil spacers in the front and stock (no mods) in the rear. I was looking to replace the coil spacers with Bilstein B8 5100s only in the front. I wanted to use the 2.8" setting and still leave the rear at stock. I don't like the rake look.

Does anyone have any thoughts or even better, photos of what this looks like? I have a 2014 4WD 1500 Outdoorsman with 295 60 R20 tires.

Here's my 2015 Outdoorsman at 2.8" with a 1" rear spacer. Still has rake, so I recently added a 1/2" spacer on top of the Bilstein's. No pics of that yet.

Thanks- I've seen lots of photos with the 2.8" lift and a 1" rear spacer. Just looking for some with that lift but without the rear spacer (nothing back there at all)

Bilstein 5100s all around. Fronts set at 2.1 and a +1, towing rear spring. Tires are General A/Tx 275/65/20.

Which rear springs are you running? How do they handle weight in the back? I have Timbergrove airbags which are great but I wouldn't mind having a heavier duty set of springs in the back

Is it okay to use auto 4x4 if your Bilstein’s are set at 2.8?? I saw a YouTube video for a GMC that said it may cause premature wear on front differential due to angles caused by level.
