Unless you are driving that many miles per year

I don't tow, but i always have about 700 pounds of weight in the bed

I have used Michelins on 3 vehicles now, i drive mostly highway miles when i do a job.
1 common trip that i make is from San Diego to Yuma Arizona & back, that trip is close to 400 miles round trip & i may have to make the same trip 3 or 4 times in a week.

Michelin Defenders LTX run at about $250. each, then there are the coupons & Sales will be happening soon

Watch for the Date on the sidewall of the tires

LOL, sorry my tire preference and vehicle usage doesn’t meet your likings. Michelin tires are for pavement queens. M55, Duratrac, BFG, grabber all work well.

I understand the production date, just don’t care enough to look.

Most people corner too fast.
I used to get 65 k miles from Toyo and Cooper tires on a one ton Ford. . I expect the same with the new Ram 2500.

So I am confused. You don't like Cooper anymore becassue they are now made by Goodyear, or at least that is what I was getting from your post, but Duratracs, also made by Goodyear a just fine? Or are you saying Coopers went bad even before Goodyear bought them.

i was not insulting your tire choice
What i meant was the reason for short mileage tires could be caused by anything
Over inflation, under inflation, bad roads where you drive, like a road that has not been resurfaced in years, or a less than Premium tire. Like i used to wait for a huge tire store to have a Sale on less than perfect tires, called Seconds.
( I now Escórt Semi Trucks to their destinations, that is how i earn some money, so i buy reliable long range tires )
