This morning going through the drive thru getting my coffee for work and my engine light comes on, display message says to service air bags, windshield wipers turn on by themselves and headlights turn off.

I pulled into a parking space and tried to park, the stereo stayed on, all the lights on the shifter illuminated and the key was stuck in the ignition.

I pulled the battery cable and was able to get the key out, but then no crank no start.

This is within a few days of command start being installed and I'm thinking something electrical shorted?

Any ideas?

Take your battery to a parts store and get it load tested. Even if it's pretty new. These are somewhat common symptoms of a failed battery or terrible battery connections ...or bad ground. It does make these truck's appear possessed. Seen it in mine too. Best of luck. Let us know what it turns out to be.

Who installed it? I’d be reaching out to them :waytogo:

if it’s you, I’d go back over the install and recheck all connections.

Thanks, will try that tomorrow, right now I'm trying the tipm reset, however, when I had a battery charger on the battery, interior lights did not work, when I took the charger odd, interior lights worked so yes, May be something with the battery

Check connections at the battery as well as all the ground connections you can find. Remove, clean, reinstall. Between that and the battery my bet is your problem will get solved.

If you cleaned all the connections and checked all your fuses/relays take your voltmeter and start checking how far into the system you have voltage. Should not be too hard to tell where the power ends.
