It's worth watching all of them. His cover is a bit differant then any aftermarket cover that's available for a 9.25 diff. It's your money, but don't expect spending a bunch of it on an after market cover for your 1500 to return you anything for what you spent. Other then the factory LSD,the 9.25 ZF is pretty robust, and doesn't really require an after market cover to live a long life.Like i said it's your money, but i could find better areas to spend money on then a rear diff cover.Put that money towards a Eaton Tru Trac or towards dumping your shorties and putting a decent set of long tubes on your truck, and you'll be farther ahead
I was asking because I'm getting quoted right now for regearing to 3.92 and a TruTrac install, good thinking :)

Upgrading to a tru trac was one of the better mods i did,i went through 2 of the factory LSD units before finally springing for a tru trac, and i haven't been able to hurt it in a couple hundred dragstrip passes.I was cooking the stock LS units once a season, they don't like water box burn-outs and drag radials much, lol

The plan for now is to skip over the factory lsd and jump from 3.21 open to 3.92 trutrac, as long as the price isn't astronomical.

You'll need to hunt up a complete front diff,as you can't change gears in the ZF front diffs. You're cheapest option would be to find both diffs out of a wrecked truck, and swap them in,then sell your oroginal diffs to recoup some of your costs. Have you considered 3.55's,as they might be easier to find, and usually aren't quite as pricey as the 3.92 diffs, plus they're a good middle of the road set-up especially with the 8 speeds 4.71:1 first gear

Yup I've got all that, I have an off-road shop working up a quote for new parts, then we can walk down the path of finding used front diff depending on the quote.

35s and towing a camper from time to time so I'm more comfortable jumping to 3.92 if I'm going to have it done.

Got the Morimoto XB fog leds swapped in with the LaminX yellow. Also not pictured is I swapped my DDM high beam leds that wouldn't clock correctly for S V.4 leds and clocked them to the correct 3/9, what a pain, barely fit underneath the housing and the only way I could get them in was to take off the fan, get them in, then reinstall the fans.

Primed, painted and cleared colormatched a second grille shell I picked up on marketplace for $80. My Hart Black rotors/pads arrived w/wrong pads. Ordered ceramic and received semi-metallic. Hart made it right! Shipping me the correct ones and told me to keep the others! A+ to them so far!

Bought the locking glove box lock handle from Mopar, painted it to match - SEM interior paint, keyed tumbler, and installed and locked it! Yep not a steel safe or anything, but deterant is what I'm after for this one. Works as expected!

Mopar P/N: 82211490
SEM Plastic Adhesion Promotor 39863
SEM Light Frost Beige SEM-6087 (my interior color)

Installed a front cam. Found and installed solely from info on this forum. I really appreciate all the posts people make on their mods. The placement of the camera was my idea. That is all. Lol. I used Alphaobd for the first time on this mod. Again, read that thread for a few days.
Thanks to mp Grimm for his adapter made a huge difference. Fast shipping too! Thanks again!
