As a Landlord... I have to keep that stuff in check. I'm 3rd generation American born. My lineage is Great Britain, so you can't pick me out of a crowd.

What you can pick out of a crowd is political ideology. I let 1 flag go up and next door there's another. Then the political BS signs start popping up. Then 1 units Democrat and one is Republican. Then I have RATIONAL renters who never had issues with each other and got along GREAT, UNTIL the stupid signs and flags popped up... all blowing up my phone with BS complaints about nothing because suddenly, SANE PEOPLE who cared about each other as neighbors, HATE EACH OTHER because they're so stupid, they can't see their getting played by rich A@@HO*$# who just want to use them for a vote.

So, as the adult. As the person who owns those units for a business income to support my family and also provide peaceful coexistence of the families, I rent to... there can't be any flags or signs of any type. At this point I'm so sick of the disrespect and fighting, I'll refuse your rental application if I see political bumper stickers.

As much as I would like to put a few decals on my truck, I don't because there is always someone who won't like what the decals denote. I can't take the chance of someone damaging my truck. Even up here in N. Idaho there are a few liberals who hate America and think they have the right to damage other people's property. Not many, but a few. Plus, it wouldn't work out well for them if I saw them vandalizing my truck. Not good at all.
