Have it on my 2018 2500. Paid way too much, so far havn't used it. But only 13000 miles on my truck. We'll see how long I can keep it.
My little 2002 Jeep Liberty was 12 when the computer bit the dust. Not bad. Only 175 000 miles or so but many many more hours of sitting in Hawaii traffic.

I will admit, it feels like my Ram has faster takeoff than the Liberty. Not an equal comparison, of course. A nice hemi in the Jeep woulda been fun. Pbly not safe, but fun.

2012 with 192,000. Had a valve body solenoid go bad and they put in a new valve body. Had one rear wheel bearing go and they replaced all the bearings in the rear end.
Unless they won't repair it, I will keep this truck forever.

I bought my truck in March 2014 and shortly after paid $2250 for the Lifetime MaxCare. I'm at 107K miles and have no plans to sell anytime soon.

I think it's been 2-3 years since they stopped offering the Lifetime plans. If I remember correctly, they never offered them on diesels.

I'm wondering how many people still have one going and are you using it? I just made an appointment for an evaporator leak CEL today so it looks like I'm going to get some more benefit. So far I'm at about $7500 worth of repairs done out of factory warranty. My dealer admitted to me that FCA is pretty sorry that they offered those because they lose their *** on people that keep their vehicles and keep it going (I'm firmly planted in that group).

PLEASE, NO WARRANTY BASHING OR FEASABILITY TALK - Go fight it out on one of 1000 other threads on the subject. We've all read it before - warranty companies are in it to make money, put the money in your IRA, warranties are a bad deal, etc, etc, etc.
BG has a life time protection plan based on maintenance services that are mileage based. You have to be under a certain amount of miles to get into the program i think 75k is the number. Doesnt appear that this will help with your current vehicle but good to know for the next one!

What is BG? Mileage based services means you have to bring it to them to be serviced at specified intervals for anything/everything that they specify I would assume?

Still have the Mopar Lifetime on the Wife's 2016 Jeep Cherokee, bought it cheep through a guy in Michigan on the Jeep Forum I use. We Love the Cherokee, but we knew about the issues with the new (at that time) ZF 9 speed tranny. No problems yet, and only 55K on the jeep. The Wife retires in November, so much less driving after that. Still a good investment, though. And FCA keeps sending us letters to buy it back.

I wish I had the lifetime when I bought my 2019 when first came out in August 2018. But alas, not offered but I did just buy a Maxcare for (8) actually 5 years more since they go back to when you took ownership of vehicle for $1725. We shall see if a good investment. I shall be happy to never use, LOL. I did just a few months ago before 36 month warranty run out have AC TSB done. Dealer had 1-3 mechanics on job 2 whole days, Made dis BOIRD happy the Red Beast was within time and mileage.

I have the Lifetime Maxcare plan on my 2017. I am still covered by the powertrain warranty. The only issue I had was a bad battery back in 2019 which was covered under the 3/36 warranty. Haven't had to use the maxcare yet.

As I read it you get paid out but keep the vehicle. You no longer have warranty coverage

As per my lifetime maxcare:
IMPORTANT! The maximum benefit amount should a covered component of the Vehicle fail will be THE TOTAL COST OF THE
REPAIRS PER VISIT LESS THE DEDUCTIBLE, OR THE CASH VALUE OF THE VEHICLE, WHICHEVER IS LESS! The cash value
of the Vehicle will be determined at the time of the covered repair and will be the average retail value as listed in the current NADA
Used Car Pricing Guide. If at any time the repair costs for covered component(s) exceed the Vehicle’s cash value, your final Plan
benefit will be our payment of the Vehicle’s cash value rather than the repair costs. Plan coverage and benefits will terminate
automatically and immediately pursuant to this provision and we will have no further obligations of any kind in respect to the
terminated Plan.
We both have awhile to go before any repair cost more than the value of our trucks.

We have the Maxcare LIFETIME on my wife's 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited. All the toys on it, skiddish about the trannys was the reason for it. Bought the warranty from the Guy on the forum. Saved 0ver two grand on it.

Just to let anyone know that has a Mopar Lifetime Maxcare service contract and high mileage, they denied my last two repairs of covered items due to my 2013 Ram 1500 high mileage (since my truck was over 166k).) Even though my front end upper control arms (denied August 2020) and lower control arms (denied Oct 2021) are both specifically listed as covered in the contract. They denied both repairs as wear since the truck was over 150k miles. Nowhere in the service contract does it say that a cover item changes to a wear item at a certain mileage or days in service. I sent the service contract people a letter requesting reimbursement for the lower control arms, so I have to wait and see how that goes. Just beware.

Actually it specifically lists the wear items that are not covered. Any those parts are NOT on that list.
Oh and I still have my lifetime 2016 with 47k miles. Almost had to use it for a stuck caliper, but none were in stock and they don't cover the rotor and pads. So instead of paying for the $100 ded., I just bought 2 new calipers for $150 instead and changed it all up front.

Still have mine on my 2014 2500 6.4 Hemi. Just got a new radio today. Dealer said is usually costs around $1100.

So, I paid $2400 (actually, I had a business partner at the time so I really only paid $1200) and have gotten the following;

Tranny rebuild - $4-5K??
Exhaust manifold bolts (both sides) - $1500?
Thermostat - $200?
Emissions system leak - $500?
Radio - $1100

Definitely loving it.... but the real value is still keeping the trick without fear of an expensive repair. Honestly, if not for the warranty I'd likely sell/trade into a new truck to avoid unforeseen costs to my company. Obviously, warranties as a whole are a losing thing for consumers (hence their existence), but these lifetimes can be a good deal if you keep the vehicle and don't get voided.

I still have mine on my 2014 1500 4x4 3.6 V6. Best investment I ever made!

At 198,000, I just had my transfer case and drivetrain control module replaced after a 4wd issue out in the forest. $100 deductible.

Just prior to that, 180,000 miles, had a dropped valve. Repaired: $100 deductible.

Before that, 140,00 miles, blown head gasket: $100...

I’ve had the radiator, water pump, thermostat, and ECM all replaced. $100...

Cruise control switch on the steering wheel, emissions control systems leak(s), and probably more I can’t remember, now. All fixed/replaced, and a couple of times with the $100 deductible waived!

Well worth it for me!

I chuckle when I read comments on how extended service plans are a scam. Just the last replacement of the transfer case and DTCM more than covered the cost of the plan. And that was with 198,000 miles on the truck. With all the electronics involved, repair costs add up quickly. My Lifetime MaxCare has been a terrific “scam” for me...

My only issue has been the rental car clause “expired” at 100,000 or 120,000 miles. Oh, well.

Hey Jeffery C, sounds like you did great with yours. I don't have the max I have Added Care Plus. 800 items covered. I actually had 3 Chrysler products 08 Patriot, 15 Compass, 15 Ram. The Patriot came with a lifetime power train and I ended up getting a new tranny and a new motor at 248k miles no deductible. The compass got a new motor at 165k miles, new PCM, new PCM harness, new wheel bearings $100 deductible respectively. The Ram has got a new TIPM, new fuel pump, cooling system work, new wiper nozzles, $100 deductible respectively. But Chrysler has ****** me around a little in regard to when a harness shows corrosion...which is my current case. They won't cover it on the ram. But in the big picture I'm way ahead of the game. When they put the new engine in the compass the guy told me if I had to pay it would be pushing $9k P&L.

IMG_20221128_132621078_HDR.jpgbtw here's the "corrosion" they're referring to to deny warranty coverage. Lower left. That's the wiring harness at the PCM.

I'll bet those pin outs are the grounding pins.
