I’ve searched to no end and have not found a direct answer, although have seen many posts and videos of a similar problem. I just upgraded my evic from 3 inch to 7 inch my truck is a 2013 and I bought a 2013 7 inch premium for the upgrade. I use alfaobd via windows with the mx+ bluetooth. Mileage and VIN rewrite took no issues on the first try, waited the appropriate time cycle for each one. No I’ve tried probably 20 times to update the idle hours and lifetime hours with no luck. Retched out to alfa support and haven’t received a response yet. Attached photos of the program live. My issue here is obviously the hours not changing but Alfa says procedure complete and does not go through or cycle reset at all. 765299D3-0CFF-40C4-812C-AC0D21ACC6BE.jpegC0A8CEC8-FCF3-4767-8BE6-C87C1CA3043F.jpeg

Broke my Auto Headlights when doing the DRL mod. I have my DRL working as DRL optional and it has the option to turn on and off in the display. So DRL is working great.

Now for the issue. In Auto, my headlights no longer turn off with the truck on. They also turn off immediately when the truck is shut off rather than staying on for the delay time.

AlphaOBD Android, when you go to the menu option and say yes. Says they are not enabled but the upload contains.

Auto Headlamps Present: Yes

Setting to yes in the app causes them to be disabled. Where the auto position on the headlight switch behaves exactly like the off position.

Anyone run into this issue and been able to fix it?

I have a similar problem. Somewhere along the line (Using the AlphaOBD) I inadvertently disabled the "Auto Headlights" on my 2015 Ram 2500 so that when the headlight switch is in the "Auto" position, it behaves as "OFF" and I must manually turn my headlights on and off. Any idea on how I can correct the problem with my AlphaOBD?

I mistakenly disabled my horn chirp when the doors lock. I was trying to correct a hyper flash issues with my replacement Morimoto headlamps. I was working with he front and rear door ajar diagnostics, and some other headlamp settings. I feel like I returned everything back to original, but now my horn won't chirp on lock. I checked the honk on door lock feature and it shows enabled. any ideas?

A couple questions I can't seem to find an answer to.

ECUConfig 3-Country of Destination Canada
Can this be Changed to US ???

What does changing this do?
CustSetMenu 1-Auto-on driver comfort CSM (option 2-3) was 1-2

Global Down: How do I use it?

1. By changing to US I suspect defaults like the DRL & KPH on the cluster will change. In US DRL and not mandatory. But I've never done it so let us know!
2. Don't know
3.Hit press & release unlock on the FOB, then immediately HOLD down unlock until windows go down to desired position then release.

I haven't found a change that can't be reversed back to the original setting. Where guys screw up is when they go in there making multiple changes at one time. Then they find an issue and can't remember what they changed.
This is why you always save an original build file to easily revert back. This is AlphaOBD rule #1.

Gotcha, I already had to use a backup to get back to where I started. #1 rule when doing any software changes in my Mind. The Tilt Headrest Icon finally went away over night. Strange how some of them take so long to change and others are immediate. The SRT shutdown on the radio screen finally showed up after 48 hours. SO so weird. I am learning to be patient with it and most of it will work just fine. Did find one that showed up but doesn,t work. The move down for reverse. I guess I do not have the correct folding mirrors. I guess I will try the changing of the country of delivery to see what it changes..

For the angle down mirror in reverse, you have to have memory seats/mirrors/ect. If you don't have the memory selection 1 or 2 buttons on the side of your seat then the angle down mirrors won't work from what I've heard. I think it has something to do with having the correct module that has memory.

Well I did the change from canada to usa and I see NO difference in the truck at all. Everything still works and all still has the same settings as before. So that must not effect anything. Made 2 backups just incase.
A little parinoid doing changes on software that runs something I drive down the highway at 75+ mph.

That explains why I can't get rid of it. I forgot about turning off the memory mirror for passenger and drivers side. Glad I wrote that one down. I would have never figured out my mistake otherwise and would have to have reverted to an original backup at that point. Thanks for the info that helped me remember what I had changed. Memory isn't what it used to be.

Installed a front cam this week. Only setting I changed was CHML to yes. It works. Will see if it sticks. Thanks to all who put in the work on this thread.

Can you be a little more specific with the CHML you changed. Are you saying I do not need to change the LED setting in CHML just that there is a camera there?

On my 2017 Rebel that is all I changed. I could not find the the CHMLED setting. Maybe I will need to after a few cycles. I don’t know yet. But it is working right now. It was my first time using Alphaobd. As always, YMMV

I think your setting is correct, I did the same and it is working fine through approximately 15 key cycles.
Thanks for the Information.

Still working. I think since the camera is in the front and not the bed cam the bed lights do not need to be on when the camera is on. Just a hunch.

Just downloaded version 2.1.9.2. Main reason was to program a key fob. While going though all te steps as described in earlier posts I get the following result: fobiks baseline system failure ignition not in off/lock
This is with the new to be programmed key in ignition in off position.
Any pointers on what may be the cause?
I know this is old, but same issue. Not sure if it’s the Fobiks I bought or because mine’s a 2019 and I had to put the bypass in in order to use alfaobd. Was pulling my hair out earlier tonight trying like 50 times. Finally gave up. This is the only post I could find that mentions it.

I'm about to pick this up with the harness for my 2018 and the new OBX module... can anyone confirm that I can delete the AGS system with AlfaOBD? I took a hit in the front and it stripped out my AGS motor and I get the check engine light which kills my remote start (winter now of course). I don't want to replace the AGS system as it cost more for the motor than all the AlfaOBD stuff. I'm going to delete it all and want to make sure I can remove it with no more codes.
