Hello.

I'm looking to buy an inexpensive leveling kit for my 2500. I usually have 3500s and go with a Thuren coil and Fox 2.0 shocks. I don't want to spend that much this time.

I've seen some decent kits from Rough Country and Ready Lift. I want to leave a little bit of rake in the rear for towing, so not perfectly level and change out the shocks. Maybe Bilstein 4600s or 5100s.

Id probably install an adjustable track bar as well. I know Rough Country makes one that isn't too pricey, but Idk how good it is.

Any recommendations from those that have installed either RC or RL kits/parts in their 2500s?

I dont personally think any of the spacer kits are really any better than one another…they are just a simple spacer that do the same thing.

I wouldnt put anything rough country on my truck, especially shocks or a track bar (im sure the spacer is fine though).

Ive had a truxxx 1.5” leveling kit on my power wagon for 6 years and never had an issue with it. I would recommend not going over 1.5-2” if you still want some rake.

I was going to go 1.5" or 1.75" in the front and 1" in the rear. I'll probably go Ready Lift.

That works. But, obviously, you wont get much of a level out of that at just a half inch to 3/4’s of an inch higher in the front.

I'm seeing that Rough Country spacers are no longer steel and like a polyurethane material?

Is that a 2WD? If so give Maxtrac a call. I've used spacers on my old Ram (first 1", and then 3.5") and they are just crap. After messing with the shocks for too long and wasting too much money I then bit the bullet and got Maxtrac spindles, and it makes a world of a difference. It's 4.5" spindles in the front and 2" blocks in the rear. Worth the money for sure!
