Great info for DT owners looking at bigger filters.I have a 2022 dt 4x4 and recently bought the rp 10-48 and the 20-500.
The 10-48 fit fine but the 20-500 was a bit too tall and hit the steering case.
I also bought the fram xg-2, 10575, and the 10060 to test and the xg-2 I really had to work to get it in, kinda mash a wire loom and it sits very close to transmission lines almost touching. The xg 10060 was no problem, and the 10575 is taller than the 10060 and it also fit, I kept the 10575 on it.
One day, but funds are tight now. Going back to SRT or Wix clone 57063 (both claim 20 micron synthetic blend?), or Fram XG 10575. My intervals are 6 months, below 5,000 miles severe duty, short trips. I could always throw on a rock catcher waiting for 20-820 re-stock. I really hope RP doesn't mess with the construction of that filter when/if it comes backrelocate kit?
those are sold out here, if you like them 50 smokes worth, I'd get a few. Writing is on the wall, rp has some deep issues as far as their filters go.I can still get the 30-8 Royal Purple that works on my truck, but holy **** the price on it has gone through the roof.I still have a couple in stock, but once they're gone,i might be switching to another filter.
Has anybody thought of swapping the filter nipple out for the older style 3/4-16 nipple,as far as i know the older nipple is still available. That would open up some options as far as filters go
well he is in canada, I have seen that price here yet.Did some vulture capitalist buy up RP, or some such? That's how they've been behaving the last 6 mos. or so.
I mean, the supply chain is starting to be restored at the same time RP is going AWOL with product.
US here, I grabbed mine at O'Reilly, in stock even.those are sold out here, if you like them 50 smokes worth, I'd get a few. Writing is on the wall, rp has some deep issues as far as their filters go.
Double thinking about this, gonna order a few and throw them in storage just in case this is the sign of RP going away.US here, I grabbed mine at O'Reilly, in stock even.
you have a bypass unit on your ram?US here, I grabbed mine at O'Reilly, in stock even.
Bypass?you have a bypass unit on your ram?
Rick has a bypass or relocation kit, that is why he can run that filter. I don't think that filter will fit a ram unless I am mistaken? 30-8aBypass?
Oh yes, I have a remote filter set up that uses the 3/4-16 thread mounted on the frame. I'm running that 30-8A filter currently.Rick has a bypass or relocation kit, that is why he can run that filter. I don't think that filter will fit a ram unless I am mistaken? 30-8a

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?
I'm talking about pulling the end of the hose and installing a new end back on the same hose. Yours is clean looking for sure. Slightly more involved, but still easily done. AN fittings are designed to be removed without permanent damage to the hose. Mine uses hydraulic hoses and fittings. So...www.ramforum.com
I ordered 3 more and 3 of the RP cartridge filters for my wife's Pentastar V6.
