I’ve got a 21 ram w the 12” screen and the Alpine 10 speaker system. I recently replaced the dash speakers and the 4 door speakers w infinity reference speakers. They sound great until I drive down the road and the ANC kicks in/ takes over and it sounds like a muffler fell off.
I’m curious which bypass harness you used on your system to alleviate this problem??
Does anyone have a link for a workable bypass or a way of de-pinning to alleviate this anc??

You will just use the harness with the white connectors. This will bypass the ANC and it is compatible with 2021 and 2022 Rams with factory Alpine amps.

Thanks for your response. But, PAC does NOT have a harness/bypass yet for the Alpine 10 speaker system the problem is the sub!!! However, a very knowledgeable technician instructed me on a fix!!! Under the drivers seat of my 2021 ram there is a box w 3 plugs entering it.. The center plug is 10 pinned. Remove the number one wire from this center plug and you have disconnected the ANC system and alleviated that awful drone from your vehicle!!
Once again, I have a 2021 Ram w alpine 10 speaker system and 12” screen.. I state that because in my research, there is so much conflicting information on what will work and what won’t!!! I hope this helps some people!!!
FYI:I replaced door speakers and dash speakers then drove my truck 2 days before I heard what can only be described as a truck w out a muffler!!! I took my truck to a mechanic who ran a code search on it. Nothing wrong found. Took it to Ram. They informed me it was a bad muffler exhaust system!!!. End result it was the ANC !!!

I’ve attached the diagram the PAC tech sent me on how to disable.

That harness I linked you has a compatible ANC harness. I have used it in a 2021 Ram and 2022 Ram including my own. I replaced all the speakers with JL Audio c7s and experienced the same issue as you with the drone at higher speeds. Since I was 2 weeks out from getting the amps installed, I needed to use that harness on my factory Alpine amp. In fact, that whole amp integration kit is compatible with our trucks. I am not sure why it takes PAC so long to validate their products but it is what it is. If you found a work around that will work for ya and is free, I'd use that :D

Went through the same thing, the speaker connectors I bought from crutchfield have the wrong polarity. As soon as I repinned the connectors to flip the polarity the drone went away

Just for clarification, are you saying that by simply flipping the polarity on the speaker connections, you were able to leave the ANC stock & active?
TIA

That's correct. I saw the same resolution in a few different forums and gave it a shot. Worked like a charm and no more head pounding drone, anc still active and working

If you search some of the other 5th Gen forums for polarity ANC it should show a lot of results where they talk about switching polarity in the connectors. Worked perfectly for me to get rid of the horrible noise.

you can unplug the anc mics. the plug is under the driver seat. I did that to mine because of a droning sound at a certain speed. my truck is still very quiet on the road.

Thanks for that info.

I recall having read that somewhere but many more stories of outright disabling. I would much prefer to keep the ANC feature if my truck has it already.
