I posted this before but still useful !
My DIY GPS holder ,
I cut the bottom gear section of the goose neck so it sits a little lower !
The white dots on the base are for the factory holes in the dash pocket !
Filld the hole in the goose neck with epoxy putty and stock a wall anchor in that for better screw retention
The flat plastic came is a 4x6 sheet I think for about 5$ so depending what you have to buy you may have 10/15$ or free if you have the parts laying around from another project

RMI-25 Cooling system additive

Today's Eco-friendly anti-freeze is positively Pitiful.
1996 Caravan cost me a radiator and a heater core.
1999 2500 Radiator
2006 Caravan got a radiator and heater core
2014 Ram 1500 was gunking up but this stuff cleaned it out, Radiator flushed 3 times cleaned all the loose gunk out.
Fresh fluid, not eco-friendly but regular old Preston green stuff and a bottle of this RMI-25, just because, neer had anothe cooling issue.

Every car now gets a jug of this stuff. Kids, Mine, Parents.
Come spring time, going to flush out this new 2022 Ram 1500 cooling system a few times, make sure its clean, then go with regular old prestone green stuff.

Can you tell I hate this Hoat, Oat and whatever they call it now anti-freeze?

Super easy and quick install

fitment was perfect.

Thing i lke most is they are not a hard plastic but kinda flexible. Not rubberlike though. I hate mud flaps that blowback in teh wind as you go down the road.

Another mod I enjoyed was chasing any bolts that I could easily upgrade with stainless. A few bucks here and there and you will have extra if you buy by the bag from eBay or Amazon

I have a 4th gen Ram, here because wanted to see whats with newer ones. Looks like a lot of the same stuff. So when I saw this I figured I would add a solution for ya. Your wrote in this tread in 4/18 so if it does not pertain anymore maybe it might help others.
Look on line for an aftermarket reverse light. This is made by Morimoto. American Trunks sells it but others may also. It is GREAT!!!!! and inexpensive. It is called "Morimoto Boost Bar License Plate Light". It is universal so can be mounted on anything with a license plate. Love it somuch that I will probably get one to add to the steel deck trailer.
-20 to +25 degree vertical beam, -30 to +15 vertical spread, 54 Cree J series 2835 LEDS, 4500K, 180mA,29.9Watt 2700 Lumens. And unless someone points to it you will never notice it till ya put it in reverse!! Iwork just like the other brand mentioned in this thread but comes with a harness and connector also. It is only $75. The other mentioned in the thread was $90 back in 2018. No idea what it is now. That one had a color temp. of 5200 so would be brighter but did not see the lumens mentioned.
Just from an "Old Fart" on the loose in the Gen 5 section!

Try another brand or go with OEM to see if they fair any better.

While I'm sure the OEM ones are overpriced ($70 for a set of 5 nuts = a lot to outfit a 6-lug 5th gen), even a quality set of aftermarket lug nuts (McGard, Gorilla) is going to set you back upwards of $150 for 24 nuts.

Not to be rude but at $32 you probably got your money's worth out of your current set.

Be careful with anything mounted to the license plate.

5th gen clearances vary but there is not much room between the gate and license plate with the tailgate down.

I had a low profile frame that barely cleared the gate. So close that I removed it as I was not comfortable with how little space there was (I could barely pass the thickness of a McDonald's takeout bag between the gate and plate frame).

I have read of some who have shaved some of the bottom off their plate and moved it down to be able to mount things to the top of their plate.

I'm not sure if the MFT has the same issue. Obviously the barn doors are not an issue but I don't know if it has the same "close call" with the tailgate down as those of us without it.

I just bought some black rubber lug covers on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CHWGSZZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

If you live in the Rust belt area these speed up cleaning the truck off. Faster then the heated mirrors can do
Or you can use old plastic bags or ?

A lot of how they hold up is how well you apply them and your weather. Some will say how long they should last based on the material used and some assumption of average weather.

I'm not sure where they got their decals from but I've gotten decals from these places before and been happy with the quality/results:

Just added mud guards.
We have lots of snow melt and my driveway is full of mud. The sides of my truck are pretty clean with the mud guards. My old Ford was beige and did not show mud much. Now my Ram is Delmonico Red and shows dirt.
