Hey guys just have a quick question about the 2019 grilles. I’ve been looking at them and do see similarities and small differences such as brackets on each side of the grille where as on my 2016 just upper and lower part of grille have extruding arms, on top that bolt into radiator support and on bottom that just slide and snap into place. I am wondering if the 2019 grilles are compatible or can be easily altered to fit on my ‘16. I wouldn’t mind making minor adjustments to one such as cutting down bracket or making small modifications to get fitment needed just don’t want to get one and realize that I’d be chopping it up more than what it would be worth or so much that it would interfere with the overall integrity and be more work than what it’s worth when I can just as easily buy a insert or replacement grille that bolts right up. It’s just a 2019 grille with same paint code has caught my eye online and if possible would definitely be nice upgrade to front of the truck. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this has been discussed or ran into the ground I always try to find if so before posting if possible, have seen similar posts but as we all know sometimes similar will suffice and sometimes it doesn’t just needing a little more specific info than what I’ve seen. As always I appreciate it and wish everyone a Merry Christmas coming up.

I was afraid of that , but im almost certain that the classics do. As for 4th to 5th swap I already had my doubts but was just wanting to get some more input or options and opinions. But I appreciate it buddy

2019-2022 Classics are all 4th gens. 5th gens were a complete redesign so very little will interchange with 4th gens. You'd need some mad fabrication skills to make a 5th gen grille fit on a 4th gen, and if you're that skilled you'd probably already know what it would take to make it work.

You didn't specify which 2019 grille you were looking at so I wasn't sure.

Unfortunately no, if you got a 4th gen your only options are to stick with the crosshairs variations, get a low quality aftermarket, do an expensive $4k rebel front end conversion or the 2018 sport pig snout grill which is also very expensive and hard to find.

I apologize guys I meant to include pic of the grille on post. But all in all it’s not that major of differences just the mounting brackets on side and a little bit more on top. I appreciate all the info
