Could be, back drain, oil filter drained down, so gives U a dry start for a few seconds. At that temp, well U know. If U have a block heater, I would plug in, or a heated garage you can park in. I know when it gets down to those (-) or close temps here, I can hear it rattle for a few secs till pressure builds. Thank the big guy upstairs not normally get that cold here. But 12 F to me is like (-) 20 F to other folks.

The only other thought would be an oil pump issue, no way to know on Internet Guessnosis.

SUGGEST YOU GO TO Burla's Oil Filter/Oil threads (in this Forum), and research on what Oil and Filter you are running and make an informed decision, just saying.

what weight oil do you suggest
You could try a differant/new filter,if it still does it,you could scrounge up a mechanical gauge and screw it into the oil pressures sending port, and see if your oil pressure sender is still working properly. The sending units have been known to go bad.The oil pressure sending unit is by the filter towards the front of the engine.

LoL!!! its literally one of the biggest thread on this forum. If they cant take 2 seconds to find it and educate themselves its not my problem.
Did it ever occur to you a new member may not even know it exists? Or may not know how to find it? Instead you think it funny all the while you've showcased your true colors. Probably took you just as long to reply to me as it would have to post a link to the thread.

@moparchas for some interesting reading: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/blackstone-used-oil-analysis.113465/
