And now a "Service DEF system , see dealer" message with a P202E

Common Problems That Trigger the P202E Code

Got the DEF injector gasket. The parts guy was confused when I said I thought it would have been gold plated for $20
Guitar pick for comparison, about the size of a quarter

Not today, but yesterday, (since it was a "balmy" 32 degrees out), I used the Adam's waterless wash and Adam's microfiber towels for the wheels. They were driving me batty! LOL
The whole truck needs a wash, but it was a bit cold for that. But, at least my wheels look great! :waytogo:

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
Hit all 7’s last night, hoping to get a one in front with no major issues.

Oil change, PUP 5W-30, Lubegard Biotech, RP 20-820. Cleaned interior, 303’d the tonneau, polished wheels and removed my AGS assembly! Hemifever programmed it out for me. Also scored this off Marketplace for $180. Good day for me!
80,018mi on her now! Sent sample to Blackstone Labs.

Many of you are having a great time making your trucks look so good. I am just trying to keep it going.
None of the fob buttons work.
Still have no rear fender lights on the drivers side.
Drivers front headlight is out again, wiring issue.
Pull fob out of key hole and it says "key in ignition".
New one today, "bad key". Turning fob won't do anything.

So once again it just sits in the driveway.

How do you like the new lights? My HID bulbs came in today but I’m waiting on Led for the high beams before I install (maybe).

Did you wire the DRLs? I didn’t know the drl could be changed from white to amber…

well good new (knocking on wood) cleared the code and started up the truck, no more code. But the "service DEF" msg came back. I remembered reading somewhere that it takes 3 key starts to clear the code. Took it on a 20 mile roundtrip stopping 3X and the msg went away. YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I've been lurking here for a bit in preparing for a Bilstein 5100 level, wheels, tires and nerf steps that I did in March. Also picked up AlfaOBD and the MX+ to adjust tire size, turn on DRL turn signals, high beam dropout, add HID to fix LED headlight flicker. Blacked out most chrome after doing away with the "chrome" clad wheels.
I purchase this truck new in 2011 and kept it completely stock until 2022. She just hit the 90K mile mark this week.

Love them I’m glad it took me so long to pick headlights. I wanted them since I bought the truck. I was originally going to send out the stock projectors and have them custom done and never did. Looked at a couple of other sets and wasn’t terribly sold on them so I knees finally came out. I love them .drl are wired in they switch back from white to yellow. I put LEDs in both high and low. I have an extra set of HID said I was going to do and decided not to do it because I didn’t want to start hacking up my brand new lights so far I’m impressed with them.

I changed the engine oil and filter. Front and rear diffs and transfer case fluids. Replaced the air filter as well. Rotated the tires too.

Gotta say it was pretty expensive.

I went with Mopar oils for the front diff and transfer case. Used Valvoline synthetic for the rear. Used Pennzoil full synthetic for the engine. Did it all myself but still was much more expensive than any fluid change I ever did.

Had to buy a new tool as well to remove the rear diff drain plug.

CHHHHAAAAACHINNG!

Not complaining, just stating facts now that I'm enjoying a few ice cold miller lights.

Anyway, Happy New Year all!

Got an email from FRP with a few attachments.
Swapped ECUs today to the unlocked one, installed the FRP test tune and did the logging. Emailed back the file and now wait for the second round.

Also swapped my eBay catch can to a UPR catch can with drain kit, thank you @Nick@GotExhaust for that.

Drivers front caliper was starting to act up so I ordered a new one as well as fresh pads on both sides (you can see the drivers side pads are more worn, I’ll hold on to them for future use just in case) rotors look fine so I just knocked the rust ridge off and threw it back together. My wife helped be bleed the lines, she was pretty excited about that.
