Anyone use 3157 Led's

Anyone use the 3157 LED Bulb ? That is the number I found so not sure it there are others!
in the rear Tail Lights instead of changing the complete light to LED ?
I would use RED Led's Like I did in the third brake light
I did use 921 Led White light for the reverse

I'm using them in my truck. I'm on my 3rd set, keep having one drop some leds a d even with alfaobd it triggers a code, which is good since the light was going bad. So, I suggest investing in a decent set of leds instead of cheap crap.

I've had these for about 2-1/2 years now and they have worked without problem. I did have to install the resistors on the turn signal wire since I was getting the occasional "light not working" message. I've put in LED's all around my truck except front turn signals and am happy with them.

I am trying to avoid the resistor if possible ! I heard if you use the resistor you do not get the bulb out warning at the gauge cluster ! !

I bought these in June 2019, still working, used alfa obd to alter settings to led on tail lights

So diesel leds aren’t a thing now? Trying to find the brightest reverse lights I can? Is there a consensus in here?

why not? if you do anything to these trucks its best thing you can have. if not at least find a friend that can do it for you.
