This is a message to the body designers of the new RAM e-truck. Make the damn truck aerodynamic! There is no practical reason to have that giant front end. Aerodynamics will improve the battery range. It will save the baby ions (powering the truck). It will provide more visibility for the driver as to what is in front of the beast. It's sad, but one of my friends drove over her old deaf dog driving out of her driveway. That was a real bummer. At my family's ranch my friend drove over my old dog on a steep hill. In both cases the driver could not see over the hood as to what was in front of the vehicle. Thank the Godess and all the Saints that these were not children who were killed. HELLO RAM DESIGNERS: LOWER THE FRONT END SO WE CAN SEE SHEIT.

Perhaps you would be less likely to kill something if you drove a car ,maybe not.

Hey if they are gonna make it all electric bring back an iconic Dodge body......
It should also allow access to battery, etc. from above with removal bed plates!!!

But probably wouldn't get good crash test ratings... :-(

It looks like your wish was granted, mostly drmoreau. And a nice looking front end too from the recent reveal. It looks big, but I'm guessing from a few hands on pics and videos that front is 1/2 the size of current gen RAMs.

Bro you just need more rake. Might I suggest 2 inch lowering on the front and 4 inch lift in back. That extra 6 inches of rake should provide the visibility you desire

Canoo is on the right track. It looks like a modern version of the old Volkswagen Kombi trucks. I have owned over 40 cars and trucks. I buy them because they are, cheap, functional, reliable transportation, or fun. I use my 2020 Ram ecodiesel for towing, and because it's a 4x4, for offroad camping trips in the desert. The Canoo looks like a military vehicle - all about business. The only vehicle we currently own that is not cheap, functional, reliable, or safe is my wife's 1970 Fiat 850 Spider. But it is aerodynamic and you can see stuff in front of you really well, which is what I want Ram to do with the trucks!

The inside is designed to be revolutionary, but the exterior needs to be evolutionary. Trying to market a total redesign of both is a herculean task at best, so they wrap it in a way that will maximize sales.
