What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Got ABS warning and SERV 4WD this morning. Had both axle bearings replaced last month. Off to the repair shop again.

Finished my first long drive, 11 hours. The truck gave me a hug for taking him out, I swear the Ecodiesel needs to run for a long time once in a while.
Oh and I redid my main floor bathroom so the wife will let me get new tires. You gotta give a little to get a lot once in a while.

Got my second round FRP tune in tonight, not much change from the initial tune file, putting it on tomorrow and doing some more logging.

Third tune file in and logged and sent back. Had to turn off traction control so it wouldn't interfere when punching it at 35-40 and spinning tire.

New tires this morning.

Dropped down a size, went with 35x11.50r20 Nitto Recon Grapplers.

So far, they seem okay. Almost as loud as my worn out 295-65r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers but they ride way better, not enough drive time to give them an honest review yet. Will have to snag some better pics when I get a chance.

New lower control arms that I’ve had sitting around for a few months that I’ve been too lazy to do ordered new fox shocks to go with it

I pulled a bunch a bunch of stuff out of my truck, sorted it, set aside materials I had extra of, and them put it,all back in an organized fashion. The extra stuff either got put into my garage or into a 5 gallon bucket to take into the shop so others can use it.

The tailgate assist I had on the truck was worm out after lots of use over the past 7 years. I put a new one on. They changed it a little and added a extra mounting bracket. It wasn’t as quick a process as I thought it would be, but the new mounting bracket that goes on the tailgate seems like an improvement over the old style.

Used my AlfaOBD for the first time, after trying phone,laptop - tablet worked just fine. Programmed 2 new Fobik's with remote start, thinking I'll add the hardware for that at some point. Added hard tonneau a while back.

I left mine in the garage the past 10 days. The weather was pretty bad, it got down to the 50's and 60's overnight, so I didn't want it to expose it to brutal conditions like that.

It's a new to me 2016 Ram :reg. cab. long box. 5.7. 6spd. auto, 2WD, tradesman. Came with U-connect 5. So far I have added: 12,000 lb. reciever( it had hitch delete)?, MBRP side exit cat. back single tail pipe stainless exh., K&N 63 series air intake, Infotainment Backup camera, Morimoto Boost Bar License Plate light, Diode Dynamics DOT/SAE LED Drtiving Lights WOW!!!!! are they GREAT, Extang tri-fold Tonneau.
Just ordered from Smmit racing: Rust-Oleum part no. 344763 Reform & Seal coating, will pull all inner wheel wells and apply it to inner fender area ( from wheel well lip up about 6 inches ) to try and prevent rust, Cabin air filter and the cabin air filter "door", so I can cut out the "slug" and install filter. I'm 70 and kept my last "truck"( 02 Dalota) for 22 years. This will probably be last truck for me. Really just a basic Ram, it's a Tradesman with a few ordered options, not alot of them.
Will make it "MY TRUCK" as no one has ever offered anyting I could order the way I wanted. Even did lots of " Stuff" to the Dakota just after it was delivered. Which they would do now like they did in the 60's basic vehicle and a 3-4 page check sheet to get what you wanted. Not a $2500 "package" because you want power windows - for an example. Want power windows -check the box!!!

You would never want to subject it to this either.

Fri & Sat went to bro-in-law ice fishing tourny. From Cheyenne to Laramie have to go over the Summit (8kft)
one stretch always bad with blowing snow. Within a 10 mile stretch, the my truck did great

V6 efan mod complete, Dorman shroud with the stock ac fan motor and blades swapped in. Maybe one of the easiest mods I've ever done apart from it being too cold and snapping some of the old fan shroud plastic.

Installed aeroskin 2 light shield on the hood

Installed 3in RC M1 struts, shocks and UCA. Now waiting for some steps. Enough clearance from the UCA??

Finally got my front windows tinted to match the rest

Finally replaced my halogen bulbs with led. Went with auxbeam 90 watt q20 for the low beams. For high beam went with auxbeam 120 watt gx series. Night and day difference as expected.

Playing around with a few different grill & headlight combinations. Thoughts???
