Well my buddy with the Yota decides to call me since he got his cute little truck stuck .

I Was able to get him squared away, and we go get my wifes JK to recover the RAM
Get back to my Truck, Do some redneck ****. Jeep pulling Yota pulling Ram... lol.
Now we all get stuck
I call My buddy with his 2500, its a monster on 38s with a 8" Lift ( He cant fit down the smaller wooden areas hence the *********** )
I get home at 11pm.
My buddy with the Yota is on Base Duty at 5am tommorow morning, Glad im retired...lol...

I drove it home, no vibrations, no grinding and no knocking from the T-Case.

I tried to look quickly tonight, But the whole front end is packed in snow and I didnt feel like throwing it on the lift

Sounds like a tommorow problem now...lol...

That definitely looks like fun. Hope the fix is good and cheap. Curious about the Toyota, looks like it has a winch on it, was it not working? that he needed to call you.

Maybe chains would have helped, they can also allow the frame to get down to the ground. Start digging and chewing with chains on the downward travel can exceed the forward travel.

Its a 1 lane trail. He got pinched between trees and couldn't turn his truck around. The snow drift was even to much for the 2500 on 38s to come in the other side of the trail.

Frost level up here is probably down at least 6 feet by now.Even chains have a hard time digging a hole in frozen ground. In Western Canada it's not uncommon for the frost level to go 8ft deep in the winter

Well not even 5 minutes on the lift and find the first problem :anitoof:.

Argh, see no cv's turning, gotta be in the case, LOL. FWIW, nice setup U have to be able to get to stuff. The CV on the RF looked all twisted there also. Reminds me of Humvee's when U blow a CV.

BET that recovery was an adventure. We once sunk our Humvee with trailer on a canal between 2 bodies of water. Took 2 hours to winch out about 2/10's of a mile, lol. We even had a M35A2 (deuce in a half to military ppl). Had no brakes. Commander "circle" X and signed off to run that deuce. Put a good deuce in front, SO going down a hill, the front deuce used to Brake the back deuce, really bad idea, lucky no one killed. WE did not have access to a 6 ton tow bar.

ARGH, is that a part off of one of them guns supposed to be able to shoot around corners? LOL,... That may explain some of the problems.
FWIW, the rubber boots look OK.

Good thing about no trees around here, you can't get trapped. Many yrs ago got stuck, in the snow on a side road, started digging , found the ground 18 in down. So walked home and got the tractor .
These days 1 in of ice on everything so even my studs are lacking on the stopping part.
Like the lift, use to have a pit , but they have a lot of short comings. always cold and wet
