I bought my truck used, so not sure if something should (or was) here. Anyone what this is? Or is used for?

2020 RAM 3500, Laramie, SW, LB, HO Turbo Diesel.

Thank you.

YUP and there like a rounded point of a triangle piece that goes there and covers the hole, at least on my 1500 there is. You have to search for the correct one for your truck.

FYI: I looked at Mopar Diagrams, and all it shows is the GROMMET in the bumper where you put in the rods to take down the spare tire. IT does not show a COVER like on my 1500 as shown above. SO there is the possibility there is JUST the grommet and not an additional cover. SOMEONE with that year 3500 would have to look at their truck and Chime in.

Thank you. I figured it was something simple.
