Next question - any reason to avoid a 2021 75th anniversary? (see post #31)

That's a great looking truck. I traded my 18 PW last spring for the 19 I have now, I love it. Really like the 8 speed tranny compared to the 6 speed in my '18. Mine doesn't have the giant touch screen, but I have the level 2 trim, which I like a lot. My truck was ordered with the vinyl floors, no carpet, man its great. Only things I've done to it, 35's, Gibson exhaust, Truxxx level kit, Pedal Commander. Couldn't be happier.

I also have 75th molten orange just rolled 20,km no problems at all ripped off a front mud guard off roading went over a stump. Had a mirror that was letting water in new put a new one on under warrant. The one thing I did was removed the rock rails on it as they pack full of mud and hold it all up against the lower rocker panels on my salty roads I would figure it would rot them out pretty quickly as no amount of pressure washing can get the dirt and mud out. Search the posts I put up pictures of them after I pressure washed them really good and they were still packed full of mud.

I'm still a little salty about the olive green 75th selling before it was officially for sale, but whatchagonnadoamirite?

I'm not normally a huge fan of white vehicles, but with the right stripe package they can look good. The full sticker package with the hood center blacked out, dark tint, and black rims looks pretty good to me in the PW.

Right now I'm just holding off until the 2023 is officially announced it it's going to have that sport hood the Rebel has and if the display will be digital. If it has that hood, I'm ordering one because I think the sport hoods on Rams are *very* nice. If not, I may save a few bucks with a '21 or '22. I'm in OT ***** mode at the moment and already shopping accessories/mods for a truck I don't own yet. :D

Since they closed the order banks on me when I tried to buy a 2023, I searched used again and came across a 2021 75th Anniversary edition with more options than I would have ordered it with. 8107 miles.

I got it from a small town dealer in southern Illinois right next to the Indiana border, near Vincennes. They said they have an older farmer who gets bored and swaps cars to the tune of about 8 a year. He bought a Mustang in another city, drove it home and didn't care for it on the drive so he traded it to them with 250 miles on it. They said he had the Power Wagon just over a year (15 months, per Carfax) and it's one of the longest he's ever kept it. He traded in this and a Hellcat on something or other. He also has a Durango SRT, all in the same green.

The winch controller still has the zip ties on it, never touched. The truck is spec'd with the box that lets you easily wire in aftermarket electronic items, like if you want power steps tied to the door opening or whatever, and that pigtail is still in the unopened plastic. Those steps are Mopar, but not the original rock sliders. They are checking if he still has them and will give them to me if he does. Mud flaps are Mopar and dealer installed as well.

Crawiling around under it, it still has the assembly line number markings visible on many parts.

Now I just have to figure out how this Android Auto stuff works in Uconnect 4. They didn't get wireless until 2022, but I wanted a 2021 for the anniversary edition with the two tone interior. It's an exclusive to that year, and I like that more than I care about Uconnect 5 vs 4.

Faulkner Automotive was the dealership and I have honestly never had an easier transaction. I exchanged a few emails, my son drove me to the dealership, and I test drove it. I told them what I'd pay and why, they negotiated a couple of times but I was serious with my number, if they couldn't get there I'd just wait and order a new one. They agreed, I wrote the biggest check in my life for something that doesn't have a foundation, and drove home. Zero BS games in the F&I office, no trying to push warranties and rust proofing and all those high profit/low value add-ons dealerships love to sell you. Real small dealership in a small town, and so much better than the big city dealerships here. I was treated like a long time loyal customer despite never having set foot in the town, let alone the dealership, before.

If I were you I would not put the ram factory rock sliders back on. I did a post about them holding all the mud and crap up against the rock rails if you drive were they use salt on the roads it’s would be a couple winters and they will rot all along the rocker panels the other reason is they really aren’t that great for a step up into the truck. If your going to do lots of serious off roading I would get a good aftermarket rock rails like maple off road. Good luck with the new truck and You will love it as they are the nices, best driving heavy duty trucks on the road.

I'd like to have them as part of the original 75th anniversary package, but will order White Knuckle sliders for actual use.

Instead of cluttering up the forum with another thread, I'm just editing the title on this one.

I've got a lead on a 2021 75th anniversary. Is there any reason to avoid this year? COVID build shortcuts or anything? Have they been solid or problematic comparatively?
I have a 21 75A...bought new, have about 25k on it...problem free, only issue is leather wrinklesnsome

Docwagon - I had the same experience in Lincoln Il on my 75A PW. It was the build number zero truck RAM used to verify performance with Rouse Automotive. I bought 3 days before Christmas last year. We were treated like loyal customers and they have followed up several times. I have bought a lot of trucks and Lincoln Ram definitely set a new bar for sales for us!

Here’s a picture of the dash badge - figured out what I have from another thread here tracking build #s. It included all the badges but none were installed. I haven’t put the 75A pillar badges or door stickers on - just Power Wagon on the tailgate. I kinda lean to less is more.

That’s a strange badge. The horsepower and torque shows the correct numbers but the rpm numbers are way off. HP should be 5200 rpm and TQ should be 4000 rpm IIRC.

Yeah I figured out this was the first truck they delivered to RAM in October 2020 which is why it’s not numbered. They gave it to Rouse Industries to do all the performance tests before deciding what they were putting on the rest of the badges (RPM, Torque,HP etc.). I will post the car spy article which shows my truck before release.

Just kind of an ownership update, I recently took my first real road trip with the '21, putting a bit north of 3k miles on it and doing some light to moderate off roading. I drove 1450+ miles in one day with zero complaints. My wife put the seat back and slept quite a bit of the trip. I was, of course, tired after being up for over 24 hours straight but was not sore or stiff in the slightest. I did note the ventilated seats seemed to make way more difference in comfort then I would have thought.

First oil change coming up, let's see how much more fun the 6.4 HD is vs the 5.7 1500....
