Hey,

So I left my truck for 2 weeks and when I came back the battery had gone dead. So I put it on a charger overnight and when I came back in the morning it was still dead, so I took it off the terminal and tried again. This time it took a charge(Not a full charge) So I put it back on the terminals and immediately my headlights came on and my windshield washer fluid started spraying, but no power in the cab and the truck wouldn't start.

I have a 2014 ram 1500 5.7 tradesman. What could be wrong here?

Have your battery tested if bad then replace go from there.

If it’s not the battery then check the connections from the ground battery to the block and the body/chassis . I often find that the larger battery cables are corroded from within , thus causing less of a charge from the alternator and more of a draw on the battery.

The last 2 mornings my battery was
dead on my ‘21 2500 Hemi. Used a
friends jumping device and it cranked
right up and ran and restarted just fine, even after running for only a couple minutes. Advance Auto tested battery and alternator and both were perfect. Can’t get it into a dealer till next week but any opinions? Truck only has 29,500 on it .
